Fantastic evening service was great food amazing all round a lovely place

First visit here and really enjoyed the food. Service was excellent and staff very friendly. Lovely menu and reasonably priced. We did find the music a touch loud but I think that was just because our table was near the speaker. Would definitely recommend to others and will return next time we visit Keswick.

Absolutely first class!! Food was excellent, service was perfect. The menu was full of fantastic food, far too much to choose from. We were visiting Carlisle from Newcastle and we will definitely be back to La Mezzaluna !!!!

Excellent meal at Lewis’ Bistro. The staff very attentive and friendly, the bistro had a nice relaxed feel even though it was pretty much full. Our meal was excellent, really tasty and decent sized portions. The steak was really good quality and perfectly tender. A lovely experience all round, thank you!

The staff and food all excellent

We discovered The Pheasant a few years back and love it! The staff are absolutely fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. Incredibly welcoming and a really nice place to eat. The beer and the food is first class, prices are very reasonable too. Dog friendly, it blows the competition out of the water. Our first choice when staying in the Northern Lake District.

Really enjoyed our first meal at the Wheatsheaf. It was Sunday Lunch, which was very good and well presented. Loved the option of bottomless gravy! My husbands meal was the beef pie, delicious he said. I had sticky toffee pudding, yum with clotted cream no pouring cream available, what a shame!! They had run out of a few condiments too but it didn’t spoil the meals at all. Staff were friendly especially the lady in charge, we thought she made the place come to life. Wine was excellent so we can confidently say we will look forward to our next visit very soon.

A return to Lewis’s restaurant and did not disappoint. Food was fantastic and the service was excellent. We will return on our next trip

Had a lovely meal on Saturday night. It was nice to go out to eat to find you serve portions which do not out face you and then have send half of it back. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend and will be back

A super evening, very relaxed atmosphere and kind, efficient service. It was great that we could take our little dog in. The menu is small but covers all angles with some unusual extras and the food was delicious.

Had a great meal on saturday 26th april. Stuffed mushroom and then sea bass was very nice, and the friendly staff put a candle on the cheesecake and sang happy birthday to my wife as we were celebrating her birthday. Nice touch.Would deffo come back

Amazing place excellent and friendly staff and a super chef who sorted my vegetarian meal to perfection. Thank you to you all
