La Mezzaluna – CarlisleExcellent food and service in a cosy relaxed setting. Definitely would recommend.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickThe food was fabulous, the new chef is very talented. The atmosphere was a little quiet, but it was a Wednesday evening in February. It always feels warm and homely. It is a little on the pricey side but the food is more than a notch above normal pub fare. We will definitely be back.

Goody Blake’s – GrasmereAn amazing find, following a recommendation from a friend. Always a very tempting menu, offering something not only local, but different. I would recommend booking your table, as a walk in, may prove disappointing.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe had a lovely family Sunday lunch in this unique pub run by Grizedale Arts. The locally sourced, home cooked food was enjoyed by all of us. We all agreed that the mix of original 16/17th century features combined with contemporary handmade furniture and artefacts works together well to create a very engaging interior. The staff are friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended.
