I had my 90th birthday party yesterday with 35 guests. From the outset I had great cooperation from Jane and Rachel who couldn't have made my life easier with the booking and for the menu choices. And on the day itself - everything was ready, the food and drink, and the waiting staff, were superb and so well organised, and not one complaint from anyone about the whole afternoon which couldn't have gone better. It was really a memorable experience and I would recommend La Mezzaluna without hesitation to anyone.

Gorgeous Christmas lunch enjoyed with friends, both the turkey and the vegetarian nut roast were delicious and the vegetables ( served separately) cooked perfectly. ie not overcooked, amazing cauliflower cheese and gravy. Lovely ambience & well priced wine list along with good service.

Food was excellent with lots of choice (especially in desserts), cooked fresh and served quickly. Price is great too - similar to other places around Keswick but so much tastier. Good atmosphere as well. We will be back!

I have run out of compliments for this restaurant I been so many times the food is fantastic service always excellent it was so busy Saturday when our party of 3arrived slightly early not a problem table ready in a jiffy and as usual food was delicious Jane and her team are amazing what a well run restaurant highly recommended I will never get bored always a warm welcome from all the staff 5 stars is not nearly enough

We booked to go for a December meal and we weren't disappointed. Good choice of food and was delicious, good quality and well presented. Being vegan I liked that the vegetarian options could be altered to be vegan. Service was great, didn't feel rushed and the food was served with a good space between courses. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in Penrith

Great homemade Italian food. Been going for well over a decade, took a colleague. Mezzaluna did not disappoint again. Fresh uncomplicated fresh Italian dishes. Great garlic bread and lasagne to die for.

Stayed in a cottage opposite this pub, the outside does not do it justice (December though), but once inside it was warm and friendly. Adrian and his team made us feel extremely welcome. Lovely atmosphere, excellent food cooked fresh and plenty of choice on the menu. Good selection of ales for the men and wines for the ladies.

We had a lovely evening celebrating our Grandsons 10th birthday.Yummy food.Great atmosphere, excellent service.Happy friendly staff.Thankyou La Mezzaluna.We will be back.

Had lunch with 2 other friends all ordering different meals with one being vegetarian. Have to say we all thoroughly enjoyed it as always. It was well presented, delicious and filling. Despite the place being very busy, the staff were very attentive and we did not have to wait long for our meals to arrive. I have dined at the Wheatsheaf on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. I think it is a great place in a beautiful setting and has a lovely atmosphere. No wonder it has been serving since 1609.

An excellent choice of beers and a fine meal as always. The venison bourguignon is absolutely delicious. This is my 3rd visit in the past month and I’ll definitely be back again.

Very nice Pub , log fires and dog friendly . we ate here 9.12..23 , so 6 adults, 1 x 2 year old and our dog. Food was excellent and freshly cooked , all 7 of us had different meals , one of our group was vegetarian and enjoyed food just as much. So starter and main and all said food was great. Bonus of Peroni on draft too and nice wine. There was just about the right amount of time left between starter and main and staff were excellent. Next we are visiting Keswick , we will be certainly return. You will certainly have to book though.
