Excellent meal in cosy dining room with well kept hand pulled ales. Love going to The Pheasant, our favourite pub in Keswick. Only niggle was it was a little on the cool side on the dining room.

The Pheasant Inn is our favourite place to eat when staying in Keswick. The food is excellent pub grub with a decent choice and competively priced. The staff are very friendly . We do book in advance if possible especially when with friends and family members.

What a great experience. Staff were excellent, young lady made suggestions for wine to fit around our differing tastes her recommendations were "bang on", Lady that took orders was brilliant and accommodating with our requests. Food was faultless starters and main, no room for desserts. Will definitely be re-visiting .

Went along as a family of three, with each ordering a different meal. The ale pie and nut loaf were both generous and flavourful. The roast of the day, although delicious, was a little dry. Would definitely return.

We booked a table for 5 for 3rd December, right in the middle of that the Cumbrian snow burst!! This cozy ancient beamed pub was the ideal place to spend the evening. We all enjoyed tasty traditional roast suppers and the service was friendly and efficient. The beer was't up to much though!

My wife & I enjoyed Sunday lunch there yesterday, holidaying in the area over the weekend. It was busy, which is always a good sign, there was a good number of staff, friendly & efficient, drinks to the table, acceptable short wait for our meal, a very good roast beef dinner and festive turkey dinner. Low alcohol/alcohol free beers available - we had Erdinger and Peroni. Very impressed for our first visit. It's dog friendly too, if you want to take your pooch. Free parking just across the road.

Good menu choices, including some unusual options. Excellent quality food, and attentive service. Friendly atmosphere, and cosy bar with log fire.

Food was excellent as ever. I have coeliac so ordered a gluten free pizza and shared a gluten free cheesy garlic bread, both were exceptional. Love eating here, I’ve never had anything other than a fantastic meal.

First time we have visited The Greyhound and we will certainly be going back! Lovely warm atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was delicious!

The food and service were excellent, albeit the main course came immediately we finished the starters. The main issue was that it was so cold we could not linger and had to leave as soon as we finished eating. There was also clothing including trainers (staff?) left lying around which was rather off-putting. Staff friendly but would not go back unless it's summer.

We went for a family birthday as a treat and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic, a good range to choose from, fresh and extremely tasty. Service was friendly, quick and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
