Good food, friendly service.

From start to finish we scored it 10, very polite and friendly front of house staff, the food was superb, you must try the lamb Henry it's simply the best.

Lovely little country pub. Maybe a bit pricey but food was great.

Delicious meal . Cheese souffle and lamb dish very tasty ( not enoughpotatoe though! ) . A rare treat to get a yummy homemade dessert poached pear with chocolate sauce & raspberry sorbet with a little surprise!

We had a very enjoyable evening because everything was just as it should be, great food, service, atmosphere and value for money. We would highly recommend Lewis Bistro to all.

Had a delicious meal while in the Lake District for a few days. Lovely little restaurant and we both really enjoyed our meal.

We love the Pheasant…have eaten here loads over the years. Excellent pie as always..but very tough slow cooked lamb shoulder. After 3 mouthfuls we told the team; and we were refunded 50%. If we are honest, don’t think that was a great response. We’ll think carefully before returning.

A hidden gem! Great food an d very friendly service. Well worth a visit with a good selection. So good we went back a second time and weren’t disappointed. The chefs curry was really good.
