enjoyed a meal for 8 on sat night, service was faultless, food amazing,the waiter even noticed my pint had about 1 quarter of inch too much head so took it away to top up.its this kind of detail that will ensure a return visit and a glowing report to all other lakes walkers.well done to the staff !

Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThis was our 4th visit and once again it did not disappoint. Service was great as was the quality of food. I would also like to mention that one of our party has a food allergy which makes eating out an anxious experience. However, I have to say that we were put completely at ease with regards to this as a full explanation was given regarding what foods contained and where they were prepared. One of the best experiences we’ve had in a restaurant regarding allergies. Will definitely be back!
