We visited on a Friday evening (2 people), atmosphere was nice and calm. Old wooden bar stools in the dining area were not the most comfortable to sit on. We ordered from the Thai menu, chicken wings for starters were tasty, but unfortunately we were disappointed with the main courses - very watery and lacked greens/veg. The service was relatively poor throughout the night - no cutlery or napkins provided with starters, when our mains arrived we asked which dish was which as they looked extremely similar, the waiter told us we that he didn’t know and that we’d just have to try them to find out. Unfortunately the service did spoil our experience and we wouldn’t be likely to return when compared to alternative food establishments in the town.

Had a lovely meal last night at the Pheasant Inn, friendly and fast service and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back.

Lovely pub. Great food. Great access for our daughter who is in a wheelchair. All staff so attentive & friendly. Makes a huge difference. The young lad who served us is an asset to the pub. Although Easter service was quick. Will definitely return again when in the area. Well done Matt & team.

Food and Service was Amazing

Lovely lunch on Easter Saturday. Very accommodating we had booked inside dog friendly table but the weather was so sunny we sat outside. Food was gorgeous. !

We dined here on Saturday 8th April. From walking through the door, the experience was brilliant. Looked after throughout and the food was outstanding. We will dine here again when in the area.

Delicious food, served in a cosy setting by friendly and attentive staff. Very reasonable prices. Varied menu - hard to choose as all look good!

Great service from our waiter. She was outstanding. Human, warm and generous. Food ok.., not as good as the pub food the night before. Maître’D aloof and imperious. Efficiency seemed more important than genuine service. Main course arrived just as we finished entree. Overall an evening that disappointed.

Must visit pub when in Keswick. Recommend the Cumberland sausage absolutely fantastic and value for money. Atmosphere lovely,staff lovely,not overly priced. Lovely place to finish up at when out hiking for the day. Pauline
