Plant by Kat’s Kitchen – KeswickA great place for meeting friends for dinner. Was busy, but not overly noisy, staff were freindly and attentive and although there's no kids menu, a half portion option was available. The food was fantastic and great value for money. Would definitely recommend.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleDelicious food and drinks, great service, lovely location. Really enjoyed our lunch here and would highly recommend. Was really happy to find a vegan cafe in the Lakes.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickBook a table for 2. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff and shown to our table. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection, the service by the staff was excellent and they took the time to make you feel welcome. This made for a pleasurable evening and I would recommend The Pheasant to anyone .
Pheasant Inn – KeswickImmediate positive was dog friendly, even offered treats for them. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, food was well priced on the menu and when the food arrived it was even better value as the portions were very generous. Waitresses and bar staff friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. Absolutely delicious food, very homely and impossible not to finish. This will definitely be a regular check in whenever I visit the Lakes.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickSunday lunch at the Greyhound Inn Cotehill was as delicious as always. The lamb was so tender it melted in your mouth. It was served with a lovely selection of freshly prepared tasty vegetables and crisp roasties and a choice of mash or dauphinois potatoes. The sweet selection was wide and all homemade we chose the Malteser Cheesecake with ice cream. We can highly recommend this pub for Sunday lunch or evening meals. Fabulous value gif money and great customer service is guaranteed

La Mezzaluna – CarlisleMe and my family had a meal here, the night before we left for home. There was 8 of us and the food was exceptional, it was the best meal we ate all week, the service was friendly, quick and nothing was a bother. The bar staff/ waitresses were very friendly. We would definitely go again, and reccomend people to dine there.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickHad a lovely meal with my fiancé yesterday. Great service and food was really good. The only thing I would say was the scallop starter tasted fab but was not value for money as it consisted of only 2 small scallops - not worth the £13 price tag.
Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithLovely setting, afternoon tea was different and tasty but rather overpriced for what there was.
The Music Room Restaurant at Augill Castle – Kirkby StephenVery good food and well worth a visit but recommend you reserve a table. Easy to book a table online and table was ready when we arrived. Service was good with friendly and attentive staff.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickLoved the lamb Henry and beef madras we had the other day. The lemon posset and orange and ginger cake were lovely also. Fast service. The pub was busy on the day we went. So I would recommend booking in advance.
