3/5 for my meal. I had the Mushroom Cobbler which I think is a new vegetarian dish on the menu. The cobbler itself was quite tasty but the pathetic looking side of overcooked, tasteless carrots that came with it were dire. This dish has so much potential to be better so it needs reworking because at the moment it looks a bit like an afterthought to fill a vegetarian option on the menu. Maybe serve it with spinach and some other decent veg to make to make it more appetising. Husband’s pork dish was 5/5 because he enjoyed it. It looked well presented on the plate compared to my dish. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive so no issues there.

Six blokes on a walking weekend. Met up at the Pheasant for our usual start...and an excellent start it was as usual. We were given excellent service, superb food in a very convivial environment. Can't speak highly enough of the Pheasants quality, value for money and service. We've been coming for years and will be coming again for years... recommended wholeheartedly.

Had a lovely meal . Tempura vegetables and the Scallops starters were exceptional. Actually it all was . Excellent.

Lovely meal with my husband on Thursday 18th September. We had a large table to accommodate our large dog. Prawn starter, fish and chips and a cheese pie all excellent. Lovely staff they are a credit! Extra special thankyou for the staff member that allowed our camper to stay on the car park overnight. Very grateful. THANKYOU

We had a great evening at Sage and Vine - the food was amazing, especially the mussels. Our two waiters were friendly, informative and enthusiastic about the food - they made the evening. Our only (very tiny) gripe was that it was very very noisy - maybe some soft furnishings would help to dampen the sound? But all in all a lovely experience and one we would definitely repeat if in the area again.

Don`t have to write much of a review about La mezzaluna, our favourite restaurant & never disappoints. Try it you will love it!

I love this restaurant! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious.

Lovely, tasty food way above the average, with good wines to match. Excellent service, pleasant surroundings, and a comfortable buzzy atmosphere, without it being loud and brash. My husband and I had the veggie sharing platter (we're not vegetarians) and everything on it was delicious, and much more interesting than the norm.

We have dined at the Pheasant now for a number of years. The welcome is excellent, staff always friendly. Food is superb,well presented. Back next year .
