Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe booked a cottage a couple of doors away from The Pheasant Inn, had heard all good things about the pub so decided to book in for evening meal, staff were amazing, friendly and couldn’t do enough for you, the meals were fab, hot and plenty of choice, would recommend booking as it was very busy when we arrived, would highly recommend
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAbsolutely brilliant. We spent ages looking for somewhere that could cater for a Coeliac (strict gluten free diet for life) and The Pheasant came up. The best meal out I have had in years. We will be back - next time we are in the Lake District.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickSix blokes on a walking weekend. Met up at the Pheasant for our usual start...and an excellent start it was as usual. We were given excellent service, superb food in a very convivial environment. Can't speak highly enough of the Pheasants quality, value for money and service. We've been coming for years and will be coming again for years... recommended wholeheartedly.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFabulous meal, thank you. It’s been years since we came and still a very high standard of delicious food and friendly atmosphere
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – CarlisleVery warm welcome when we arrived very friendly staff we didn’t wait long for our drinks before the meal, the food was amazing the waiters/waitress was very good couldn’t fault them in any way. Definitely will return in the very near future also highly recommend to family & friends.
Adriano’s Italian Restaurant – Carlisle3/5 for my meal. I had the Mushroom Cobbler which I think is a new vegetarian dish on the menu. The cobbler itself was quite tasty but the pathetic looking side of overcooked, tasteless carrots that came with it were dire. This dish has so much potential to be better so it needs reworking because at the moment it looks a bit like an afterthought to fill a vegetarian option on the menu. Maybe serve it with spinach and some other decent veg to make to make it more appetising. Husband’s pork dish was 5/5 because he enjoyed it. It looked well presented on the plate compared to my dish. Staff were lovely, friendly and attentive so no issues there.
