The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAn excellent meal in a lovely pub. Very friendly - definitely service with a smile. The food quality is absolutely top notch. A very enjoyable evening.
Trawden Arms – ColneGorgeous atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff - we came with two young children and the staff couldn't have been more helpful, and sat us in a quieter area. A lovely family meal out for a great price - we'll absolutely be back!
Papa Luigis – Chorley10 out of 10 as always great food and service they went above and behond for us
The Traders Arms – BlackburnI was lucky enough to be taken there for my 50th birthday, although it wasn't our first time there it was superb as usual. Started off with two very agreeable negronis and followed up with starters and mains, then finished off with coffee. The atmosphere was great, busy but not overly noisy. The service was very good, and although I wish I opted for a different main course (the burger wasn't really to my taste), everything was top notch and the bill surprisingly reasonable for such a nice place to eat. It would have been nice to see some specials or a slightly wider (or updated) menu, but what they do, they do really well. Highly recommended.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleMy husband and I both had a full English breakfast and it was delicious. My husband is fussy over sausages and tends to leave them but he ate them all up and thought they were amazing! It was presented really nice too with warm and friendly staff which makes a huge difference. Lovely furnishings and extremely clean place to eat. Can't wait to visit again and will be suggesting to friends to visit too. .
The Barn – PrestonTerrific food again. Freshly cooked and imaginative. Marinated halloumi kebab excellent as was the wife's bean curry. Great service too. Thanks to all at The Station
The Station Hotel – LancasterGreat brunch, friendly staff. Will definitely be returning !
Bread and Butter – PrestonGot the sharer for 4 and it was amazing, never disappoints here
Anatolia Grill – St HelensWhat a shame ! We have eaten at Toms Table several times and always had a great meal. On this occasion it was badly let down by slow service and a frankly inedible item of food. We appreciate it was busy, but waited half and hour for our order to be taken and then another half hour for anything to arrive (and only then because we flagged up the wait to the server). We only wanted our bread to eat as an apertiser to keep us going. The bread eventually came with a sickly sweet accompaniment and the meanest cube of butter !! (We were given extra butter when we asked). Terrible though for £6.50. However, the thing that ruined the evening, was to have a complaint we made pretty much dismissed, about something that should have been a red cabbage side dish, but was brown in colour and just tasted horrible. Really over reduced, almost burnt. The server just said that there was nothing they did in the Kitchen that could have made it like that. Basically saying, you are wrong, you have imagined it, the dish was fine. How arrogant!! It was a great shame that the chef didn’t ‘own it’. We were offered a small discount because the service was slow. We won’t rush back !!
Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat food and service.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe went last night and had a lovely meal for our wedding anniversary. They were very attentive and polite and the food was delicious and lots of it. There was lots to choose from on the menu and Chicken Sultan Delight was incredible.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterAlways great food, friendly relaxed service. Our go to when we're in the Valley
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenRead the reviews about the food which was ok but screaming toddlers on bar stools at 7 o'clock on a Saturday night means we won't be back.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat food, great service, great atmosphere. It was a packed Saturday night but service was still quick. Lovely staff, very attentive. My favourite Truly Italian restaurant.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyFamily dinner for 6, all very happy with great food choices, all meals were piping hot and tasted great. Staff polite and helpful.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe had a burger board at Shepard's rest last night which was absolutely amazing! I was so full I couldn’t move and all was cooked to perfection! We’ve been a couple of times now and it never disappoints. Always a nice atmosphere with friendly staff Declan was very helpful, attentive and made sure we had a nice evening. Thank you everyone
