Lovely food and good atmosphere , staff were very nice too.

My first visit and definitely not my last! Very friendly and helpful staff, and given a nice window table. We tried a few different starters - the mushrooms, Lamb and Hummus, and meatballs, followed by the sharing platter for 2. Fantastic food, can't fault any of it. Very good quality and very tasty. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks to all the chefs and waiting staff - a lovely visit.

We were made to feel very welcome by Zoe and her team. The meal was delicious and great to see a good selection of specials. Particularly loved the sauce with the black pudding starter!

The food was amazing! The staff were friendly and helpful. The service was super fast! I would highly recommend a visit, once you’ve been you won’t be able to wait to go back!

Went for an anniversary lunch and we enjoyed one of the best meals out in a long time. Great friendly service, plenty of choice and very tasty - we will be back and next time, any excuse for the visit!

This covers 2 recent visits. On both occasions the food has been excellent. Service is very good, staff friendly and attentive. Really nice place, tastefully decorated. Just a shame that I have to drive there and cannot sample the beer, my friends assure me that it is also very good!

A keen follower of Tom's career having known him sometime. The menu is always fresh and interesting with the french twist - a nod to his time served. Excellent food and presentation, we loved the new sharing platter as a starter - a savoury taste gourmand. The new bar is fab, tastefully renovated and a nice place to start and end your night out. Service good and attentive - nothing too much trouble. Only small issue - the acoustics in the dining room - sometimes hard to hear each other .... we will be back time and again. Thanks for a memorable evening.

Always worth a visit when I'm up in St Helens, we had the chefs special platter for 2 £30 for a huge plate of delicious mixed meat kebabs with complimentary salad and bread. You don't leave hungry, that's for sure!

Went for our daughters 21st Birthday, meal was excellent, service was above and beyond, highly recommend to anyone. :)
