Absolutely delicious food and brilliant service. The only downside was that the food took about 45 minutes - it was really busy in fairness. We didn’t mind so much but it was a little too long to wait for the children’s meals - they were nearly climbing the walls!! However, we’ll definitely be back!!

Arrived on time to be greeted by staff,who when we booked in at the venue told us the kitchen is closed and cleaned down for the night. Disappointed at this comment,was offered if we wanted they could possibly cook us something. To which we declined. Seems as though the staff don’t check bookings,not very happy
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeLovely restaurant although quite cold,asked to put the heating on. There was a large burner but this wasn’t lit. Food was excellent,pizza was fabulous ,good value.Service was very good also. A lovely experience Will visit again soon.

A’Vucciria – RawtenstallOur 1st lunchtime visit which we were eagerly anticipating and it did not disappoint. The quality of the food was exceptional and great value for money. The set menu choices were challenging on paper but turned out to be exactly the right choice. Katsu Tofu!! Stand out dish from the lunch menu was the twice baked souffle. Also the white Rioja ticked all the boxes.

A’Vucciria – Rawtenstall15th March 2023 lunchtime. Our first visit and the first day of their Spring menu. Overall the vegan food was good and the service was generally okay. We got the impression that the two serving staff were somewhat uninterested in our dining experience with almost no request for feedback. We would have expected that the chef would have been keen for ways to improve his brand new menu? Our friends ordered a shared meze together with a mushroom pate and tomato tarte tatin. They hadn't realised that the meze also included the mushroom pate - perhaps this could have been pointed out by knowledgeable staff? The pita and slices of french bread were pretty stale and the beetroot humus was unseasoned and didn't taste much of beetroot. The buffalo wings and the pate were good as was the tarte. As mentioned elsewhere in other reviews the burger was fantastic and the enchiladas were very tasty and highly recommended. The cakes were bought in and not created on the premises and were okay. The coffee and hot drinks were good. All in all a satisfactory lunch and we will probably return although we will not be ordering the meze next time. It would be helpful for review readers if there was a date next to each review and I shall be interested to see if we get any feedback for our feedback ; - ))
