The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat food an very helpful staff. What more could you ask for!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallA firm favourite of my family, just lovely, everyone so accommodating, don’t change!
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleThis was the first time we'd been back to The Whitchaff since it's refurb. I found the booking process online very easy, although next time I might see if I can ask for a particular table in the 'extra info' box. I had the Lancashire burger, which was delicious; Allan had the fish and chips with mushy peas. The refurb is lovely, very classy, and the service we received was spot on - friendly and not too pushy. We will definitely be back as I want to try the sharing platters!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFood excellent as always. Service was unusually lacking. Had to ask for enough wine glasses. Wine and cutlery just dumped on the table. Would still go again.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyIt was our last night together for a few days so my husband took me on a date night. All I can say is ‘Wow’, great surroundings before you even enter the unique restaurant. It felt like I was in Italy or France, a quaint restaurant with lovely staff, the food was lush, I had a fillet steak and I choose the sauce recommended by the waitress, which I’m now calling my magic sauce delicious. The food was beautiful, I do love a pretty plate of food, I’ve been promised a bottle of my favourite New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough Region as they have a new supplier. I’ll be back greetings from London!
Toms Table – ClitheroeService and food was amazing.all fresh ingredients so clean and friendly
Toms Table – ClitheroeOur 2nd time in a matter of weeks, great for catch up with friends. A lovely sunny spot with plenty of shade if needed. We had a delicious brunch. Service was friendly and prompt and good value for what we had.
Bread and Butter – PrestonAlways good food. Good service and a pleasant atmosphere.. would definitely recommend.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMost food was ok but my daughter ordered chicken sorrentino which came over cooked the cheese tasted burnt
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWhat a fabulous meal we had here, everything was brilliant so fresh and tasty.
Toms Table – ClitheroeWill never eat here again. We were sat at a high table in direct sunshine. Could hardly see but were not offered a different table. The girl serving who came for our drinks order didn't even know what drinks they had. She had to go and check. The food was ok but nothing special and quite expensive. The place was so loud we could barely hear each other. If you want a nice relaxing dining experience avoid this place.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallQuite literally the best meal we’ve ever had, EVER! The food had so many different flavours without it being too overpowering and they all complimented each other amazingly. Clearly the chef knows what he/she is doing! ;) Perfect value for money and the atmosphere is lovely. So cosy and welcoming. The staff are lovely too. We can’t wait to come again. Five star!
Toms Table – ClitheroeAll in all. Service fabulous Food not up to expectations for the price
Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonNo impressed, food wasn't great at all. Ordered Caesar salad, expecting Caesar salad but we received a Chicken breast, with two strips of bacon and 4 pieces of fried bread on top of a very small amount of mixed lettuce. The side order of chips was not cooked properly and still hard in the middle. Dressing was minimal and in a bowl as was the parmesan. really not what we expected at all. Further more we were brought our bill and asked how we were paying as we had just ordered coffee, we hadn't ordered the bill and felt very rushed out. Not a pleasant experience all in all.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallYes we both really enjoyed our meal, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will return.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeMy friend and I had our monthly meal out, this time it was to Verdes. We went at 6.30 on a Friday evening, it was busy but the staff had time for you, we didnt have to wait long for our meal; it was beautiful, loved it. Would definitely go again. Thank you Verdes
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyWe had a lovely lunch at the Whitchaff Inn - the staff were very attentive and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!
