The added bonus was the fabulous music from the local music group. All kinds of musical talents and lovely traditional folk music which was particularly enjoyed by our American friends.

Trawden Arms – ColneAfter having a great meal here a week or 2 ago with family we thought we would try it again on a Sunday. WARNING! Don’t go on a Sunday evening. They had pretty much run out of everything so the menu was VERY limited and they wouldn’t allow us to order of the other menu that had more to offer. Surely if most of the Sunday Menu has sold out, you could consider allowing people to order other food. If we didn’t have 2 hungry kids with us, I would have walked out
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenMade a reservation for a lunch, I have seen excellent reviews and wanted to try this venue. I had invited guest so I was hoping that this would be a suitable location. Well, I was not disappointed. Menu was interesting with plenty of choice, service was outstanding, polite and efficient without being interruptive. When the food arrived it was beautifully presented, piping hot and tasted superb. Ingredients were of a good quality and the whole table was extremely satisfied. Restaurant was extremely clean and well looked after with ample space. I could not ask for a better place to visit, i will definitely be back for more of this place. Well done to the staff and the chef! And well done management.

Great menu with plenty of choices for all taste. Staff were very pleasant and very accommodating. Lovely place, beautiful views at the rear outside dining area. Highly recommend.
