Lovely food and staff with a great atmosphere

My partner and I enjoyed a wonderful meal last night. As Ann is in a wheelchair, it was nice that she was able to access the building and we were given a table close to the bar. We both enjoyed a lovely meal, with great service from the dedicated and attentive staff members. Great to enjoy a rather different dining experience, with a varied menu and delicious food. Not overpriced, very enjoyable, and we will be back soon ! NB The Lunesdale Arms is a place we have been visiting fairly regularly over the past 40+ years, under different owners and chefs, and we have never been disappointed ! Well done.

Absolutely fabulous as always!!!! Freshly made to order, great quality ingredients. Polite friendly staff. Seating and tables inside and out.. Booked recommended as it gets busy with being so popular.

Loved everything about this cosy place, Great food, with a lovely & relaxed atmosphere.(good music selection too) Finally, the. staff were terrific, they were the personality of the place. Will definitely be back.

Went last night for my Husbands Birthday, doesn’t have to be an occasion to go here as such good value for money and food is delicious, our favourite restaurant.

Visited on 11/9/2026. Meal was lovely, staff all very friendly and it was quiz night, had a great time.

We attended on a Thursday night for the Tapas. Wow the food was amazing. So many choices. All dishes were excellent. The staff were very attentive. Was a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. x

Excellent food and great service - highly recommend!

Visited with friends for a meal. It is quite a few years since dining at the Whitchaff and we enjoyed every minute in this very nice establishment. All our meals were delicious and served with a smile, nothing was too much trouble for our waitress. We dined from 17.30 and by the time we left (19.30) the restaurant was very busy. This was a Wednesday evening at a Robinsons pub in Rawtenstall. Well done to all the very nice staff. We will be back.

Great location, parking, extensive menu, friendly and efficient staff, delicious food & outstanding value for money

Visited on a busy Friday night and was treated to fabulous food and even better service. The food is a little expensive for the amount you get but it was well made and tasted gorgeous. However, the service was outstanding. We could not have wanted for anything but it was done discreetly without bothering us while we were chatting. It was a really great evening and I will be going again soon!

Food, service and atmosphere all great. I highly recommend

Always had a good meal at Verdes, it can get a bit noisy as the evening goes on but the atmosphere is always good. Food quality is good, despite the large portion sizes which can sometimes be daunting for us seniors! The service is exemplary with a friendly welcome whenever we visit.

Delicious food, presented beautifully. The atmosphere was really lovely - especially for a Wednesday night. Will definitely be coming back!

Very nice, but we could have done with a better table.

The cheese garlic bread and the tomato one were amazing. The 4 of us ordered 3 different kinds of pasta dish, were delicious. Only 2 desserts ordered, the tiramisu and chocolate fudge cake that were quickly polished off.

Had a fabulous meal, fillet steak was superb, thus is our fourth visit now and each time we've found it to be great, definitely recommend
