Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaDefinitely the best food in Shoreham-by-Sea.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAlways a lovely tasty meal. We started with the best oysters in the world and a portion of anchovies to sharpen our palette. The calamari’s had too much batter for me but was tasty nonetheless We had the lobster tails which were cooked perfectly in butter with an amazing sauce. The detail of presentation was good too with little “loaves” of potato and finely diced tasty veg. Served with the tails were tempura prawns. The batter shrouded the prawn taste but I’m not a fan of coving fish in batter. If you want fish and chips go to a fish shop! We shared an Eaton mess which was perfect end to the meal. Not too much cream. Thank you for a lovely meal. We will come again and again.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent food, excellent atmosphere, great beer.
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeRump Steak was divine, all 3 of us enjoyed it. The service was great with a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Packed out with people eating which is always a good sign!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – Rye3rd visit and 2nd delicious Sunday roast. Same excellent value service and food in a lovely venue with a good atmosphere
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaExcellent Sunday roast dinner
The Denbigh – BexhillHad a fantastic Sunday Roast! The food was great, good selection of drinks and the pub itself was very unique / quirky! The atmosphere was also very good, and despite it being busy the staff were quick (and friendly) with service!
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeHad a very nice dinner of tempura prawns and a delicious Dover sole with a green salad and chips. The staff were most helpful as usual, highly recommended.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaI met up with a friend for dinner last night and the atmosphere was delightful nd the staff were very attentive and friendly. Sadly that’s where the positive comments end…. We both ordered the burgers and were very disappointed by the size of the portion. Side plate size … full plate price. It was ok but I won’t be rushing back
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeExcellent meal, superb fish dishes, freshly cooked with lovely side dishes. Excellent service and ambience. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaTook my partner out for a birthday lunch here on Friday. Outside - torrential rain, Inside warm and welcoming. Friendly efficient staff who pay attention to the details without being asked. Food was delicious, mouthwatering with substantial portions and beautifully cooked. The only disappointment was we had no room for dessert! We will definitely return.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaEvery mouthful was delicious from starter courses to main - not enough room to enjoy a dessert! I always enjoy the sharing menu and it’s great value for such a variety of freshly cooked food. This time I had the deep fried squid for starter and the much loved fish stew bouillabaisse packed with monk fish, prawns and mussels - well worth having on a wet windy night! The staff are all lovely, welcoming and efficient and the ambiance is warm and cosy with delicious smells wafting from the kitchen. Well worth a visit for fish lovers.
Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaFood absolutely lovely. Prawns were very tasty, staff were very welcoming and attentive. My partner is gluten free and they made a homemade Yorkshire pudding which is very rare to find. Definitely will be eating here again.
The Denbigh – BexhillWent here last night for my birthday meal. It was just perfect- the ambience, the staff and the food. The staff particularly were so responsive and accommodating. Paying at the end with their east system for splitting bills was so helpful. Thank you so much for making my night special x
The Globe Inn Marsh Rye – RyeParty of 3 with one dog. Lovely dog friendly pub. Dogs welcome in the pub area and if you don’t like dogs in a pub, there is a lovely restaurant area. Staff were attentive. Food was nice. Made to feel welcome.
The Denbigh – BexhillMy son & I had a great Sunday lunch, the portions were generous, with good wine choices. The Globe's menu & service do fluctuate, largely very good, at other times disappointing. Hopefully, the present standards will be maintained throughout the year.
