Lovely food and staff but it was just way too hot in the restaurant. It made it an unpleasant dining experience. They need to have a think what they can do over the next few months when it’s very hot as it just felt like being in a sauna.

Into the Blue has been one of my favourite restaurants that I have taken friend to and they have always commented on how lovely the food is. Last Saturday 26/06/22 I brought a friend to Into the Blue as I had told her it was a very good restaurant. When we look at the menu I was a bit bemused at what was on the menu as it was very different to how it was a few weeks ago. I couldn't tell the size of the portions. There was a mixture of fish and meat together, if you are pescatarian then you cant eat that. I found it very difficult to find something in the starters that I liked. The menu was more like a tapas menu. I was disappointed as I had said so much about how good Into the blue was and I didn't like the menu. The staff were very pleasant, there was a good atmosphere and what we had to eat was okay. But it has left me wondering about what I do with another friend who has been to In to Blue before and is also coming to stay with me I am a not at all sure she will like it. I hope the menu gets changed very soon.

Simply fantastic meal at Into the Blue. Food was delicious, well presented, tapas style seafood. sService was great. Really cannot fault it. Will definitely be back.

Another lovely evening at Into the Blue Restaurant. A firm favourite of ours. Food was good as always and the menu offered some new choices for us to try. Service and atmosphere, just as you would want it.

We come back here time and again. We always have trouble choosing from the menu as there are so many things we would like. Service is great, friendly without being intrusive.

We had the Captain’s Table which was great - we had booked for 4 of us but a couple of friends turned up unexpectedly and there was no problem with the staff laying the table to include them. The food was, as always, delicious - the fish is so fresh , the scallops wrapped in parma ham were scrumptious as were the mussels. The staff are always friendly and we will certainly return as soon as we can

Very disappointed after eating here as a treat for over a decade and loving the way the restaurant built its legacy with amazing dishes and sauces to come back as a small treat to find that the style has completely changed I was flabbergasted to say the least but thought ok let’s give it a go the food was ok but very small nowhere near its normal standard I actually felt like the place had fallen out of love with food , this used to be the best restaurant in Sussex hands down but you have stopped everything that made you that we used to have to book 3 weeks in advance there was 3 walk ins for tables when we where there I think that says it all, please go back to your old style this one is not you

1st time here and couldn’t fault anything, food lovely, service great and although very busy the atmosphere was good ! We will return for an evening meal, can’t wait !
