Lovely local restaurant with relaxing atmosphere. The set menu was excellent value.

Have dined here many times. The atmosphere is unique. The service is v good. Unfortunately- although the menu is excellent- the meals themselves were a little underwhelming this time. Lacked the finishing touches. The lamb rump was nice and pink but too much fat accompanied it and there was no jus to add the sparkle needed. Smashed potatoes didnt add much to the dish. The hispi cabbage was good. So value for money suffered as a result.

Excellent as always! Tempura oysters excellent as was the lobster. Thoroughly enjoyable lunch.

Lovely food very tasty will definitely return

we visited for the second time and chose octopus salad and heirloom tomatoes to start, followed by two pasta dishes, one with crab claws, the other sausage ragu. Everything was beautifully presented and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It’s a great find in a very attractive part of the town. Highly recommended

Charming place, beautiful food, lovely ladies

A wonderful find in the Meads. Delicious food, friendly staff, and relaxed atmosphere. The best value would be the lunch set course but alas our schedule didn’t allow for it so we pre ordered for an evening meal instead. Pricier than the lunch as is standard, but the food was delectable. Simple food cooked so well. A treat to be taken out. Thank you.

One of the best meals out we’ve had for ages, the food was absolutely amazing, the service was impeccable, the atmosphere was great, when we’re next in the area, this will definitely be our go to restaurant, some of the best seafood we’ve had!……

I think this is the best fish restaurant on the South Coast. The lunch today was excellent especially the lobster which was perfectly cooked and the Dover Sole was delicious.

Third time of going catching up with friends. Relaxed beautiful setting. Attentive staff but not in your face. The food was delicious ,local produce where ever possible. Desserts to die for can't wait to go again. Have a look round all the quirky seating areas brilliant ideas .

The food and service were excellent. However, the Eton Mess Desert left a lot to the imagination. Please remove it from your menu
