The only thing that I was not happy with was the church pew that I sat on along with another couple on the next table. The bench constantly moved back and forward as the couple moved. I didn’t feel I could ask them to sit still. Better seating would have improved my experience Everything else was great thanks

Group of 6 of us for Scallop Fest. We had a great evening . The food and service were very good . Nice scallop specials . We all left happy

A very special find on Shoreham Beach. A warm and friendly welcome was just the start of a wonderful evening. The talented kitchen team produced dishes of the highest quality. Scallops were perfectly cooked, and served in a luscious champagne sauce. Our grilled Dover Sole was properly de-boned for service, and presented with a lovely shrimp garnish. We will certainly be returning!

We had a lovely relaxing experience, service and team very good and we really enjoyed our food !

First visit and loved it service was amazing food was lovely .( we should of stated no garlic ) but thats our fault .everything was perfect . We will be back .could not ask for a nicer evening

Very interesting pub with great decor. Decent choice of beers. Staff seemed quite stressed on a Saturday night and we would have appreciated a bit more warmth considering we were a group of 6 with a large bill. Cannot fault the food which was lovely, but we had to return a bottle of French Sauvignon blanc and waitress seemed quite put out. Overall a nice evening but please make your guests feel a bit more appreciated.

One of my very favourite places in Rye and it never fails.. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, eclectic setting and friendly service.

I went to this restaurant on Friday night and it was fabulous. The food was superb - Masterchef worthy fish dishes - and the atmosphere, service was second to none. This is by far the best restaurant in Shoreham by Sea but I would gos so far to say this is the best fish restaurant in Sussex!

Another great meal for 16 of us upstairs at The Globe. Elio and the team made us very welcome and the food was 1st class.

It's the only place, that I know of, in my area that I can get Steak and Kidney pudding - homemade too. It's full of big chunks of steak and kidney and the pastry is a delight. If I could just teach Southerners that gravy should nearly stand up for itself it would be perfect lol. It was Rye Scallops week when we went and 2 of our party had the scallops with lobster bisque risotto and our 4th had the fish pie. We all enjoyed our meals. Although we were getting full we managed to have dfssert. Crimble Crumble and custard. A good end to a wonderful meal.

Lovely quirky atmospheric place, very fritndly and helpful staff and dog friendly too. Food was very nice (we went in Rye Scallop Festival Week so didn’t try the main menu but it looked good.

Hi, I had lunch with a friend yesterday and the meal was fabulous as it always is. I recommend the smoked salmon and avocado on toast, which was my choice and my friend had the omelette and chips. Also really good.

The 4 of us had a great selection of scallops followed by some very tasty sharing plates, finishing off with a cheese board. The white wine and beer complimented the food really well. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite it being a busy lunchtime. There was a lovely casual atmosphere throughout our visit. We will return for the international food trials!
