Great afternoon tea yesterday. Service was really good and attentive without being overly done. Food and fizz were lovely and the setting is just perfect. Thank you...amazing value.

My friend and i visited The Plough on Chippy Tuesday. We both had Scampi, Chips and Mushy Peas. Food was excellent and fantastic value at £10! The staff were very friendly and service was great ecen though they were busy.

Disappointing Fish in fish and chips was small and a bit dry albeit batter was crispy. (Smaller portions than last year) Gammon was rather tough and chewy Mushy peas were fine Crab was a bit tasteless and prawns small and chewy Also food took nearly an hour to be served (maybe 45 mins but ridiculous given very few diners)

Excellent food, excellent service a great night out. Staff were really helpful & friendly.

My partners meal was a little disappointing as my partners chips were not quite warm enough and some were burt. The gammon had a too much fat on it. The meal on our last stay was excellent.

Fantastic Sunday roasts lots of meat very tasty and the wet nelly and the jam roly poly and custard were delicious! Friendly staff and great service

There were four of us we had Sunday lunch. We all had the beef it was delicious Nice size portions and everything well cooked. All staff very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed it. Look forward to going again.

Been meaning to go for food here for the last two years; eventually managed it and went for dinner this weekend. We were warmly greeted as we walked in and shortly thereafter had an order taken for drinks, which arrived promptly. We waited a short while for food to arrive but it was well worth it when it did. Lovely large portions and very delicious, clearly home cooked, food. Highly recommended and the best we've found in the area.

Visited the lovely Capella restaurant again and had a very tasty 6 dishes between each of our two couples. Plenty of delicious choices, good sized tasty portions. Had a very nice bottle of well priced red wine. Attentive staff who made the whole experience great. A few more diners would have added to the atmosphere, but there was a cosy feel to the restaurant. It's so nice to have lovely Italian food in the village.

Another fabulous meal. Great service and lovely food. Never fails to disappoint.
