We had a warm welcome. Had the tapas menu and every dish was really lovely and delicious. I want to go back to try the steak.

Food as ever was delicious we go fairly regular as we can guarantee food is great and the staff nothing too much trouble for them

Called in Bank holiday was quiet but food and service very good.

We enjoyed both our meals, a chicken parmigiana and a gammon steak. Friendly staff, it was great.

Afternoon tea vouchers through Groupon. Lovely sandwiches and scones, followed by cakes. Great value for money. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were very pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be back in the near future. The hotel is lovely and the gardens, which we had a walk around, are stunning. We'll worth a visit.

4 of us visited on Saturday evening. Staff were warm and welcoming. Food was fab even my fussy teenage son cleared his plates! I think this could end up my new favourite place! And you get a little discount for paying cash! Cash is king! Also no service charge in sight on the receipt which also persuades me to leave a nice tip. Lovely place.

We visited on bank holiday evening. Restaurant was quiet, but nice atmosphere. Lovely food. Good service.

The food was very good Visited with friends The only negative was that there was a very loud group at the bar, obviously had a few Everyone who came in where looking and frowning and trying to sit as far away as possible Shame because I would have liked to have returned as the food was lovely but it has put us off

A nice pub in a lovely location. We had Sunday Dinner and Starters which was all lovely. The atmosphere was a little flat and room we were sat in was very dark, we had asked for the lights to be turned on 3 times before they were. The service is what truly let down our visit, waiting a long time to be seen, waiters / waitress' not communicating with each other and seemed to have no idea what they were doing and all completing the same task at the same time, we expected slightly better service for a very quiet Sunday afternoon, aside from the 2 of us there were only 2 other tables in the whole restaurant.

Great selection of dishes, very good quality and portion size. Especially liked the steak, seabass and hummus. Will defiantly be back.

Nice meal but not outstanding, chicken was a bit bland so had to add lots of seasoning. Had a great night though with the quiz and the staff were great. Would definitely come again if in the area.

I’ve been a few times but unfortunately I won’t be visiting again the service on last nights meal was awful service was extremely slow. The staff were miserable we were there for 3 hours and only got served twice for drinks and each time we had to look for staff for service. The staff make for a miserable experience they look at customers in an awful manner and just seem genuinely unhappy and unhelpful people. Never again
