The Carriers Inn – FrodshamFirst meal in the new restaurant, will definitely be back soon. All 4 of us very happy with the quality of the food (Italian) and the service was excellent. Lunchtime on Thursday was very quiet but that was OK for us.
The Tigers Head Country Pub and Dining – FrodshamHad midweek lunch, Delicious food, excellent service, very friendly efficient staff, would highly recommend.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldOn this occasion a midweek lunch for two. As I always find the service was excellent from the initial attentive greeting to having the door held open on departure, the staff are well trained and professional, friendly, polite and attentive when appropriate and discreet when they perceive that to be suitable……..nobody says “there you go, …..enjoy “ when serving, the serviettes and tablecloths are linen, there is Melba toast, the table setting is lovely with good quality cutlery and plates etc. The food choice is sensibly limited to five for each course, all of which are tempting and delicious; once decided upon the food arrives after just the right time lapse, is well presented and on hot plates and perfectly served at the table. The tables are well spaced which I like, the wine list is very comprehensive, at the same time tap water is offered. The same staff are generally present especially Michael and Paul (plus others whose names I’m ashamed to say I don’t remember), which is special. I never get the impression that the main objective is to take money off me, rather to provide excellent value and top quality at a very reasonable cost. The whole experience reminds me of the best quality hotel restaurants of the 1950/1960s when I was little. Thank you to all those concerned. Keith Knowles.
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldGood cooking, well priced and excellent service

Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyA delicious meal at Carriers Inn for Mothers Day - lashings of gravy with our roast dinners and shared a delicious honeycomb cheesecake with my daughter. Great value
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamJust had an afternoon tea, and couldn’t have been more pleased. Lovely scones, and attentive staff, all in a lovely setting.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordLovely staff and a good ambience make it a pleasure to visit the Egerton Arms. My wife and I have been here a few times recently and the food has been excellent on each visit.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonVisited for afternoon tea & it was delicious. Able to take our time with no rush for the table. Pleasant helpful staff.

Pacino’s – ChesterAttended for mothering Sunday. We had the lamb roast dinners which were very good. There was lots of fresh vegetables and the lamb was lovely and tender. There was also lots of gravy. It was quite filling. There was only me that managed a deserve. It was a mint sponge cake which was out of this world. We will be visiting again shortly.
The Carriers Inn – FrodshamAlways enjoy visits to Cafe de Paris whether for lunch or just a relaxing coffee with friends. The coffee is always really good. Best in Nantwich as far as I am concerned! Enjoy the food too and the whole ambience whether inside or out is very warm and attractive. Sue
Cafe De Paris – NantwichMy 95 year old mother and I thoroughly enjoyed a treat of afternoon tea. There was a friendly welcome on arrival followed by attentive service in a warm traditional setting with lovely white linen and china crockery with views over the gardens. The food was well presented and warm scones especially good. There was unprompted top up of our chosen beverages without additional charge. We would certainly go again.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordReally enjoyed the food , friendly helpful staff, only criticism was the food came out not together as a party of 5 so felt awkward waiting for everyone to eat together. Member of staff did apologise for this though.
Lilac at The Chestergate – MacclesfieldFood was good, unfortunately came with a party if 5 and only 3 meals came out together, so felt awkward to eat waiting for the other 2 people to eat, staff friendly and decor was historical and lovely, a nice place to go locally.
Lilac at The Chestergate – MacclesfieldWe visited on Mother’s Day with my little girl (3years). First impression was great. Spotlessly clean and really friendly staff. We enjoyed the roast and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. We will definitely return.
