Visited on Saturday for my wife's birthday love the ambience the food was excellent and all the staff were very good making us welcome with first class service. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is absolutely lovely. The decor to the food is outstanding. We all had a variety of food and is really reasonable prices considering it is within lymm villiage. I would highly recommend this lovely place. Service was amazing and really good with my daughter as it was her birthday. We will be back :). Only down fall is the toliet .... if your tall there isn't much room to get out but tother than that all good.

Great choice of menu, with lots of variety. All food was tasty & well presented. Service was good, we were advised to order ASAP due to a coach party arriving. Would definitely recommend

From start to finish, the whole experience at Bacchus was excellent. Service was attentive, without being obtrusive. Food was delicious- presentation, quality and taste was fantastic. Loved the free glass of champers which exemplified the personal touch. And, finally, can’t forget to mention the tomato focaccia - absolutely amazing. Definitely not the last time we visit!

We've been going to the Alvanley Arms for many years. Food lovely, plenty of it and good value staff very attentive. Thoroughly recommend it.

Friendly staff, fantastic food (prawn linguine)

Visited the White Lion again last Tuesday after a long time and it's just as pleasant as it always has been with very friendly staff and good food.

Afternoon tea via Groupon. Not exactly a warm welcome from the obviously bored receptionist. Food very ordinary at best. Barely passable sandwiches and cakes. Nice scone but 'squirty cream' rather than clotted cream. Glad we didnt pay full price. Not recommended. Try the Midland in Manchester to see how it should be done.

Can't say about value for money as it was a mother's day present from my son. Brought my daughter with me. It was amazing. The young man who served us was so polite and accommodating. The food was delicious and the ambiance was idyllic. Thank you so much

Great service, huge menu to choose from and dog friendly. We arrived early for our booking but were seated straight away on a slate floored area (perfect for the dogs on a hot day!). The pie and Sunday roast were delicious and the pudding menu was impressive!

We have now eaten many times at Bacchus and have never been disappointed - the customer service is fantastic, food is always delicious and such high quality and the restaurant is always busy but the layout still allows you to feel that you can have a private intimate meal. Very highly recommended.
