An excellent meal, friendly attentive staff, good value, cosy atmosphere. Recommended.

Before going I had heard mixed things about the service not being great but I wanted to see for myself. The restaurant has a nice interior. We were given a £4.99 bottle of Prosecco from Aldi and charged £30 for it. We had a 40 minute wait for the food (there was only 4 other tables in) when the food did arrive there was no apology. The food was nice but it didn’t blow me away and I’ve had much nicer tapas in Macclesfield and Bollington. I emailed the restaurant to let them know how disappointed I was and I’ve heard nothing back. I will not be going back and I would not recommend.

Food great! Service prompt and friendly. Having pre booked we would have expected to be seated in the restaurant area, we were in the main bar area which is ok but wasn’t expected as it is the dog friendly area - something to consider when booking.

Excellent food & service. The restaurant was packed full but still got served promptly. Very good value for money. Somewhere all the family enjoy going & a good choice on menu.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. No greeting at the door though, waited 5 to 10 minutes to be seated. Will definitely go again though.

We had heard great things about this restaurant but it exceeded our expectations. Friendly & attentive service, lovely ambiance, stylish but relaxed and excellent food. The quality of all food served was fabulous. It is also nice to find fine dining with good portions. A real treat evening, we will be back. Thank you

The best afternoon tea we've ever had! The food was fantastic. I am dairy free so never expect anything amazing, but it was delicious. Everything was so fresh. The scones were warm and we even got a choice of jam. To top things off I asked for an oat milk hot chocolate and this was no problem at all. The waiter was very friendly and polite. The restaurant is surrounded by beautiful grounds. We had a lovely afternoon. Thank You Mere Court Hotel.

Visited for a birthday lunch and was not disappointed. Great menu selection and excellent service. Look forward to our next visit.

Came here for my birthday evening meal and everything was fabulous. Staff were extremely friendly, approachable and efficient they really couldn’t have done enough. Food was also brilliant very flavoursome. Have to say the cheese literally fell off the pizza every time. All presented beautifully. 5 star experience

This is our favourite Indian restaurant, which is why I booked it for my husband’s 50th birthday celebrations. Staff and food was amazing as always - really looked after our party of 20 , can’t recommend highly enough

Nice Sunday roast lunch. Small plate was plenty. Deserts nice but a bit pricey. Love pub with a pleasant atmosphere. Staff attentive and polite.

We enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch at The Carriers In . The food was delicious and plenty of gravy. The service was excellent, all staff were friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble Definitely recommend eating here. Not too far from Delamere Forest so good to visit after a walk
