Fabulous service and food, definitely becoming one of our favourite restaurants

Hi, delightful dining experience !! Mike, remembered us from last year -this our second visit -as Haydock Park racegoers and the ensuing 3 course meal was sumptuous . I'm not a vegetarian but chose the nut roast with asparagus ,and sauteed potato wedges -divine. My friend had the seafood Linguine , also superb . Great choice of wines very fairly priced and we made the right choices . Because the staff are so well chosen and trained the service is relaxed and confident. This creates a chilled dining atmosphere. When it comes to paying the bill it is always less than you think it should be ! Long may it remain so . We will be back in February, thank you everyone . My group of friends has been coming here for more years than we care to remember and we love it. The whole feel of the place is so comfortable and relaxing and the service is attentive but unobtrusive. We particularly appreciate that we can enjoy our meal at our own pace. The food is always good with something for everyone.

Had a marvellous evening at Heatons Social Staff were efficient , friendly and helpful Cocktails were amazing including meeting requests for cocktails that were not on the menu Venue was warm and inviting Will definitely return

Awful meal, I had fish and chips, only Luke warm, plates stone cold, partner had steak pie his was the same, Food should not be served in cold plates. Really disappointed ☹️

Love the relaxed atmosphere for this delightful little cafe. Great menu, especially the French Onion soup it’s the best I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend visiting, it does get busy so best to book in advance.

Thank you for such a lovely evening last Thurs (13th Nov). We were a rowdy party of 7 ladies on a Hen party, and we were well catered for and the food was fabulous, as always!

Booked for a Sunday roast for 4 people around 4 pm which isn’t a bad time Walked into a miserable lady just on her phone who just looked at us then it was like she couldn’t find the booking Then decided to put us in the corner out the way A young girl came up took our drink orders then came running back and said was you told about the food we was like no she said we only Have a bit of lamb left and 1 pie So we got up and left went the Chinese across the road which was lovely Won’t be returning anytime soon
