Had a lovely afternoon tea celebrating a 90th birthday. Lovely little extra for the birthday girl with A Happy Birthday with some fruit and macrons. And gluten free for me. Well done all round

We had a lovely meal but we didn’t appreciate being charged £3.95 for a tiny jug of gravy.

Disappointing experience. Interior was lovely, staff were nice, but the food was not good. Had the pork enchiladas, the BBQ taste was so rich, strong and tangy, they were horrible, ended up trying to scrape the sauce out. Pricey meal, small portion, and did not enjoy the food.

All round excellent place for drinks or food . All the staff there are welcoming and professional and very helpful. Sunday dinners are amazing and brilliant value .

5 Stars in every way. Thanks will be back again soon.....

On our third visit to The White Lion, we enjoyed a family lunch - excellent service from friendly and polite staff, superbly cooked and presented range of meals at very competitive prices and all in a very pleasant atmosphere. We would recommend The White Lion unreservedly.

The White Lion in Alvanley is a lovely well cared for country pub who do a fabulous Sunday lunch...we had trio of meats....delicious!! Plenty of parking.The staff are welcoming and friendly.I was too full for a pudding. Afterwards sat outside with a drink with lovely views.

Food was very good, what I would call “proper home cooking”. Service friendly and quick.

I was lucky enough to go with a friend to the tasting session for the new summer menu a couple of weeks ago. So…. I thought I would take another friend there for a treat. We were not disappointed…. It was lovely. The food and drink were delicious and the atmosphere lovely. Quality and quantity of food was spot on. Don’t do what a lot of places do and cut corners by reducing either of these. Really enjoyed our visit. Thank you. Will definitely return soon.

I hadn't been to Panama Hattys for about 12 years so decided to pay a visit. Usual lovely interior and attentive staff but 3 pieces of chicken on my kebab and burnt sweet potato fries at the bottom of the bowl. No one asked how the meal was just if we had finished. This place used to be superb but should yiu feel hungry when you get home after a meal out?

I would just like to thank Paul (owner) who went above and beyond on Saturday night. Whilst dining with friends I received a phone call with a family emergency. Paul very kindly gave me a lift home and then went back for my friends as well. As usual food was fantastic, staff friendly as always and a great atmosphere! A great addition to the village.

Very nice and courteous staff who worked hard to be helpful and accommodating. All food items well prepared and tasted good. No issues.

We attended on the hottest day of the year. We couldn't book until 9pm due to other stuff at home and the restaurant did initially call us to attend earlier, but were still really accommodating. We were in the air conditioned section which was lovely and had 3 courses each. All of the food was lovely. The staff were attentive and friendly. We would definitely come back again.

Relaxing atmosphere on a pre-birthday lunch 13 June at our favourite Nantwich venue, Cafe de Paris. Busy again as weather warmed up, short staffed on this occasion but still very welcoming staff, efficient and friendly. Excellent meal as always with a nice slice of apple tart (and one to take home), excellent coffee. Looking forward to our next visit very soon. Your hard work is greatly appreciated.
