Great value lovely food.Good atmosphere.

First visit to the white lion on the evening of 26/3/26, nice surprise to find blue badge parking direct in front of entrance. My partner and I were received in a friendly manner and directed to a comfy table, drinks order was delivered promptly. Food menu was extensive with a good range of starters, mains and sweets. Our order was prompt, hot and delicious, followed by feedback enquiry as to our thoughts on the food and service. We left feeling well fed, and planning to visit again. The white lion is a recommended venue for great food and drinks, well managed with a pleasant atmosphere.

Busy Friday evening. Gorgeous restaurant decor. Friendly professional staff who were very stretched. Waited a long time for food. Really nice menu. Everyone’s plate was perfect. The prices for both food and drink were excellent. Will go again.

The service was really good from the staff bring us the food and drinks to our table. They were very polite. We were out with friends who came to visit us from Oxford, as we don’t often eat out. The only thing that let the pub down was that i ordered a steak burger and in my last bite of the burger there was a plastic sheet in it.

Had a great meal here for my birthday. 4 of us shared a nachos starter which was delicious. Our mains were again really tasty - washed down by happy hour cocktails. We’d not been to Panama Hatty’s for years but have been telling our friends how much we enjoyed it and we’ll definitely be back soon.

Lovely old pub , lovely fire making it very welcoming. However as the coffee machine was broken there was no hot drinks which included tea!! No apologies and apparently no kettle in the kitchen! The dessert that should have been warm was served cold. The staff lacked good customer service skills. Quite disappointing.

Excellent lunch for our walking group - good food & good company

I really enjoy coming to this venue for afternoon tea. We bought a voucher on Groupon and it was well worth what we paid.

Good menu. Wide choice. Friendly and courteous service. No issues.

The "younger staff" were extremely helpful and attentive. Our table was booked for 1400hrs so we had a full choice of menu. My veggie roast was lovely.

Paccinos is the only venue which my wife and I travel to. We travel 20 miles to eat incredible food in a beautifully authentic setting. The staff are friendly, welcoming and you can tell how much of a relationship they have built with their regular customers. I couldn't recommend Paccinos enough. It's my favourite restaurant.

Visited the Plough yesterday for a meal with 5 friends. We had a brilliant time from our warm welcome, excellent friendly service, and superb food from a varied menu. Thank you to concerned. We will be back soon.
