We had a table booked but decided to leave after being told around half the menu was unavailable. We were then informed that any dishes containing eggs were also unavailable, leaving very little choice. It was really disappointing.

The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortWe were a group of 5 going to the nearby Little Theatre for 7.30 show. Our food arrived promptly and in plenty of time to enjoy the meal without rushing. We were warmly greeted and seated in a spacious, clean and contemporary restaurant and the service was excellent. The food was fresh, beautifully cooked and presented and tasted delicious. The portions were generous and excellent value for money. One of the best restaurants in Chester and we shall definitely be returning!
