On arrival we had pre booked for 3pm our table was not ready until 3.30pm not too bad we enjoyed drinks in the beer garden but no apology was given, We ordered 7 meals 6/7 were great roast dinners and a burger however sadly 1 meal of regular gammon steak was awful more fat than gammon a young girl on the floor said she would deduct 25% off the gammon still appalling as it was awful even another member of staff had said she would eat this either, we did argue our point and did get the gammon removed from the bill but sadly we felt this wasn’t dealt with great the blonde girl appeared to be rude about it then made our stay here feel awquid and not wanted which is very sad and very unprofessional we often come here we’ve never complained before we were celebrating a birthday and didn’t think we got dealt with very nicely which is sad we often spend a lot of money here and I do feel now we maybe not return due to this

Lovely Sunday lunch with friends! A couple of mishaps with the ordering- 2 off us ordered the apple, walnut and blue cheese starters - neither of us had any apple! My husband ordered the beef fajitas and was served the chicken ones instead! But overall food was delicious as always and the service was great

Food was amazing service was excellent. The staff were great. Very friendly and attentive. Would recommend it to anyone who has not been before.

Really lovely countryside pub. Staff really warm and welcoming. Nice outdoor area to sit also. I had the rump steak and it was cooked to perfection, dessert was warm chocolate fudge cake which was delicious. Only thing that annoyed me was serving it on a small platter plate so it was difficult to cut and mix things as no room on the plate, so use a bigger plate please!!

We visited on August 8th and we were a party of. My father was in a wheelchair which I told the restaurant about when I booked. The table we had was perfect, next to the patio doors which lead to the car park via a ramp. We haven't been for a while but it didn't disappoint. The friendly service always makes you feel welcome and the food was as excellent as ever.

The Spinner was a firm favourite of ours for many years but then it changed hands and we stopped going. We heard it was under new management and returned. The ambiance is again lovely, the staff pleasant and the food outstanding. We are so pleased to be back and delighted to see it so busy!

Excellent Sunday lunch. It's a busy pub, but we were seated quickly and drinks arrived within a couple of minutes - including a water bowl for the dog. Food came out quickly too but had clearly been freshly cooked (no microwaves were harmed in the preparation of that food). Service was attentive and friendly but fortunately we weren't pestered by a thousand people asking if everything was ok (just one person asked and, yes, it was ok). Good portion size - big enough but not too big to prevent a pudding. Drinks selection was spot on with a few hand pulled beers and a good wine list.

This was our first trip to the Spinner and Bergamot and it did not disappoint. It’s a proper old school pub with small snug rooms filled with the welcoming hum of quiet conversation. The menu selection was quite small but varied - ideal if you find it hard to decide - and the food was cooked perfectly, piping hot and beautifully presented. Unfortunately I was driving but I did check out the hand pumps and there was plenty to choose from. The toilets were clean and lastly but most importantly, the service was friendly and efficient. 10/10

Our go to restaurant for Sunday lunch. As always a really enjoyable experience

We enjoyed a wonderful meal, my steak was cooked to perfection, and my sisters scampi was equally good. Great service, prompt, and service with a smile, the atmosphere as always was perfect. The only downside was the chocolate, cherry and rum tart, it had run out again, i have yet to taste this dessert, but considering it is in demand, it must be good, i joked with the lady that served us, that when booking in future, i should pre book the desert. I have given 5/5 for every category, and i would give more if i could.

Not a pleasant experience overall. Doors were left open and there was a hell of a lot of flies , a lot on table and around restaurant.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Great quality food and plenty of it. Good service.
