We visited the Restaurant last Saturday with my partner's son who was visiting from Scotland and is vegetarian. My partner and I have been quite often and always found everything top notch. Scott was very impressed with the variation of food for himself. Portions are plentiful, the atmosphere is great and all staff are very attentive constantly. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of going. You will not regret it.

Food was basic but ok. Lack of atmosphere as so few people in. Staff faillrly friendly but lacking real engagement. One looked scruffy dressed.

Had a lovely afternoon at Panama Hattys. Excellent service, friendly staff, Lovely food. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again. Would highly recommend.

AVOID IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY, INTOLERANCE OR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS. Dietary requirements not met for afternoon despite writing them on the booking form AND informing the waitress on arrival. The waitress continued to bring the allergen out which I informed them I couldn't have twice. I was told to just "swap" the sandwich I couldn't have with someone else. No offer to substitute this with something else. This is honestly disgraceful in this day and age. We were the only table in the restaurant, I can understand why now. Food was very average for an afternoon tea, nothing special. Specialty coffee was an additional £5 something. There was a wedding on when we arrived so no where to park, people were dumping their car anywhere blocking others in. The wedding was obviously prioritised which is expected, but it affected the service we were definitely an after thought. If you don't have the staff then don't offer afternoon tea at the same time it's not rocket science. Dead flies in the window sills and there was a sticky substance and crumbs from the breakfast on the table on arrival. My sister had to ask them to wipe it as we sat down... despite being the only table there and the table being set up for afternoon tea. Average priced afternoon tea for average food. The staff were friendly but the lack of customer service doesn't make up for it.

Unreal. food really lovely, nice to have something different in town. Beautiful courtyard away from the high street. Heaters and sofa outside as well. It’s dog friendly and the staff are more than accommodating and extremely friendly. The service was wonderful as well. Will definitely be returning!

Wow, fabulous venue - feels real special. Lovely drinks area for the best cocktails! Excellent service, nothing is too much trouble. The ribs are the best we have ever tasted - same can be said for their blue cheese sauce. Thanks to all the team for a memorable visit. We cannot wait to come back.

Birthday meal with my family was great. Beautiful decor and delicious food.

A pleasant family lunch . Portions are generous and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the charcuterie board . Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Myself and 2 friends had a 2 course meal from the early bird menu last night. We were really impressed with the food. It was superb, really tasty. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be booking again and will recommend to our other friends.

I booked for our walking group (12 people). It was a very positive experience, the staff were helpful and welcoming and the service excellent and the food was good.

I booked an afternoon tea for myself and my friend for her 50th birthday as a gift. The service was good and the member of staff was polite. The afternoon tea was lovely and I requested for a birthday message for my friend. The request was actioned and made my friends day special.

Went on a Monday lunchtime and booked in advance as we expected it to be busy. However, we were practically the only one's in there which surprised us. However, this shouldn't be taken as a reflection on the quality of our visit. The menu was large and our food was delicious. Excellent service

Had Sunday roast, meant to be 2 courses included in the price; charged for the starter on top of the “all inclusive” price, made for a very expensive meal, disappointed

Sunday lunch yesterday was very enjoyable with one exception the roast beef although tasty was very chewy but not undercooked. I mentioned this to the waiter and requested he passed my comment to the chef. Meals were well presented and plentiful.
