Very enjoyable meal, staff very pleasant & attentive. Could not fault the food, shame we did not have room for the pudding! Will definitely return in the future.

Amazing food really nice staff

I went yesterday with my daughter and grandson, it was my daughter’s birthday. I left a review but can’t find it now. We ordered Sunday roast Beef. And chicken for my grandson. The food arrived loads of it, and within minutes the manager came to our table to ask is everything we okey. Of course we said yes as we had not even had chance to taste the food. The roast beef was so tough we could not eat it. When I spoke to the manager she simply said. “I came over to ask is everything was okey, you should have told me then. I tried to tell her that we hadn’t had chance to sample the food but she was already walking away from me. I found her attitude rude and not the way I would expect to be treated she never cane over to me to apologise or just find out why I felt the beef was so tough. Or explain the pub policy if you don’t mention something isn’t right when we come and ask you before you get chance to eat then that’s not the pubs problem that’s how I feel. The waiting on staff were fabulous polite and helpful. We also spoke to the waitress who was embarrassed. The vegetables were fine all the food was under seasoned but I’ll accept that as a personal taste. I Am surprised to see my original post has been taken down, which makes me wonder how many others have been removed. I can also say now after my original post that the manager spoke with the waitress and when I came to pay the bill she took my grandsons desert off the bill. Still no apology I was left feeling uncomfortable

Myself & two friends had a really lovely meal on Saturday evening, great food , we had main courses & drinks & ate everything! Great service as well, would definitely recommend.

It just gets better and better! The food, quality and revised menu are certainly blue chip top drawer. Luckily, (for me) all washed down with a nice bottle of Wincle beer – Sir Philip. The staff were super attentive and yet similarly discreet. Thank you to Steph and her team and of course not complete without mention of Jim as Head Chef! We will certainly be back again shortly

Really lovely meal with excellent service at this little Italian restaurant. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend the fish dishes, all very tasty and fresh.

We made a last minute decision to go here and what a delight. Lovely setting and nice food. Small menu, but focused on things they do well.

we sat at table 1 me n mrs both had the chicken supreme with wild mushroom sauce , it wa sabsolutely delicious , but then id expect nothing else , been going for whilenow and food never dissapoints. The staff are great and nice and friendly can t fault teh place

Last night was our first visit and our only regret is not visiting sooner. The service, decor was incredible and the only thing better than that was the delicious food. Presented so beautifully and so full of flavour. Very reasonably priced. Couldn't have loved it anymore. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We ate in the restaurant four times once for lunch and 3 consecutive nights for dinner. The food was excellent and the service was 1st class. The next time we are down staying at Carden Park the Egerton Arms will be our 1st port of call.

Great service, nice and simple menu and a great selection of beer and gins. Even on a busy Friday evening we didn't have to wait too long so, all in all, we had a lovely meal and an enjoyable evening

Such a lovely setting in a traditional English hotel with beautiful gardens. The dining room we were in was perfectly dressed with crisp white linen and bone china for our delicious afternoon tea. We were served by a lovely young lady who was very attentive and pleasant. The afternoon tea was delicious with well filled sandwiches, great cakes and really lovely warm scones. Overall a really pleasant afternoon with my mum. Well done Mere Court, I would certainly return.
