We made a last minute decision to go and eat at Piccante on Saturday evening and when we arrived we were told that they were sorry but the restaurant had been fully booked out for a birthday party. The lovely barman Jack, then offered us a table in the bar area which we accepted. Despite the staff being run off their feet with the party upstairs they still were really attentive to us and made us feel very welcome. The service was prompt and the food was excellent. We also met Haseena, one of the owners who was lovely too. We had a great experience and delicious food and we will definitely be going back again soon.

Amazing food, friendly attentive service.

Booked this spur of the moment as a birthday surprise for my mum, the night before. So glad I did. All four of us finished every morsel on our plate. Kept eyeing up each others meals too as they were all so good. Definitely returning soon

Excellent service and food. Ate at lilac cottage twice during our stay and enjoyed it very much. Would recommend highly. Cocktails are delicious.

In one word Fabulous

sat on table 1 and my wife had her favourite the Belly pork which is so tender and delicious , and i had the spicey chicken curry which is so tender and tasty , the food at the Cheshire yoeman is great cant be faulted . The staff are so helpful and freindly and the whole place has a family friendly feel. love teh place

Lovely Easter Sunday lunch. Very helpful staff on the phone before our booking i called twice 1st to add two extra then again moved us from outside to indoors due to the cold weather. We had a mix of Lamb roasts & veggie roasts. All of it was deliciously Lovely staff & dog friendly. Definitely be back x

booken online, received a phone call, saying their online booking was faulty, fully booked, but was offered a high seat table at the bar, if this had been offered to us on a booking we would have walked out, so I declined their offer and went elsewhere. But will rebook here in the future.

We were sat where two doors were opening and closing giving contant draughts. My lamb was wafer thin, fatty and tasteless. I mentioned this to the manager but all she said was ' I'll let the chef know'. No offer of any discount. I am not a complainer buy I will not be going there again.

Impromptu early tea one afternoon ... loved the decor and vibe. Fab cocktail and the food was delicious. We ended up choosing fajitas and burrito and both were so tasty. Haven't been for over 20 years but I'll definitely be back sooner than that! Great service aswell. What's not to like?

We loved our Easter lunch at Piccante! The food was incredible- I’m dreaming of the sausage pasta and chicken tapas! The drinks and service were great- beautiful glasses and atmosphere. I will definitely be back whether it be for a coffee, cocktails or a meal. My new favourite restaurant in Macclesfield!

This was our first visit and was very impressed with the whole experience, being lunch time on Easter Sunday thinking that we’d get caught up in traffic and arrived an hour early for our booking and was told that our table was ready and could sit down. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout , the food was beautifully cooked and plentiful but the best bit - it was piping hot. We will definitely be coming back and can not rate it highly enough.
