We had a lovely meal at The Royal Oak. It was reasonably priced, staff were friendly and helpful and the restaurant was clean.

Brilliant food and atmosphere as usual

We visited Babba Saturday evening and were greeted by friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. We went for the cold meze for starter which was lovely, with enough food to serve 5 people happily. We then had various options from the large menu, they did not disappoint. I personally went for the lamb chops which were gorgeous. Waiters were attentive throughout and we had a great time. The only thing I would like more about Babba was if it was busier, with a better atmosphere. However this didn’t blur tue great time we had. Would definitely recommend.

Booked in for another great lunch. Food lovely and delicious. Service is brilliant. Very welcoming. A great place to have lunch with a friend and we really enjoy visiting.

Love this place & unhappy it’s not our local, or we would be living here! The staff are always super welcoming & go out of their way to ensure we have the best experience, thank you. We always eat from the Bistro menu as we find the main menu a bit la-di-da & expensive for us, but the Bistro menu has all the usual pub suspects at a very reasonable prices. Also, they stock some really good ales, though they have stopped doing 2 of our favourites, Sam Adams & Maltsmiths, but we did find a perfectly good substitute, Head something that I’ve forgotten. Great pub, loved the internal decor, staff very friendly and attentive, fab service. However food was disappointing and service a little slow.

We went for 7 .30 on a weekday evening we waited nearly 40 mins for starters we had prawn cocktail starters which looked lovely but the prawns were warm then a good half hour for the mains,the steaks were good but the mushrooms were cold they offered a hot drink for the inconvenience but we declined, the pub itself is lovely but they need to do something about waiting times

The atmosphere was lovely with beautiful decor and a good buzz. The food was delicious,reasonably priced and arrived in good time. I cannot fault the staff as they were attentive and helpful. We will definitely return.

Ok but won’t return. Had to ask for early bird menu, one between two of us and all menus stained. Food ok but steak in the pasta dish had some fatty pieces in which wasn’t too good. Quite expensive for what it was. Service ok

Atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. Lovely and clean Sunday roast was delicious, well done to the chef. Staff very prompt , helpful and approachable. Overall, a lovely experience

Really friendly staff, great food, comfortable atmosphere/decor - loved it all!

Took my mum for Sunday lunch, the service was maybe a little slow, but it was quite busy in there and we weren't in any rush. The new extension is beautiful and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals ( there was plenty to eat) and we will definitely return

Sunday roast- best we’ve had in ages! Excellent

Food average - long wait- sat in tented area, other customers v noisy and although we liked the shabby chic idea, it was too much on the shabby side. Loo roll wet & had clearly been down the bowl, carpet dirty etc. The cocktails were the highlight.

First time at Elmas with a lovely friend and we were very impressed with the service, food, and atmosphere. Definitely go again and have recommended you to my family & friends

A lovely family meal in a beautiful venue. We enjoyed starters and mains, no room for dessert. All of it was very tasty. Will definitely be back
