The Carriers Inn – FrodshamLovely old building in the Rows in Chester. Authentic Italian food. The lunch nenu was great value for money. Three courses £17.95 including coffee. The staff were friendly and helpful - even the chef came out to introduce himself. We will definitely return.
Carbonara at No 49 – ChesterHad a really great time here. Came for a drink and decided to stay for dinner. It was a quiet when I arrived but got a little busier during food service. Lovely waitress who was really helpful with my request for extra gravy. I had pie and chips and a great pint of Unicorn. Delicious. Can't fault it. See you again soon
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonI booked a table at the Egerton Arms for Wednesday 19 April 2023 for 12.30 on arrival we were seated in the bar area the table that they had given us wasn't really big enough for the 3 of us, we did ask for a bigger table and there was a vacant table for 4 people which we moved to. We were abit disappointed that we weren't offered a table in the restaurant. The food was lovely what we ordered but there was quite a wait due to the chef being very busy a couple that came in after us walked out they weren't prepared to wait . We have been previously and what happened will not stop us coming again.

They brought the baby mash and gravy immediately as they seemed to know , babies won't wait. He devoured it. Our meals were excellent and the fish fingers were really fish goujons no filler just pure fish. A most enjoyable experience. To be repeated.
Egerton Arms Astbury – CongletonWe made a last minute decision to go and eat at Piccante on Saturday evening and when we arrived we were told that they were sorry but the restaurant had been fully booked out for a birthday party. The lovely barman Jack, then offered us a table in the bar area which we accepted. Despite the staff being run off their feet with the party upstairs they still were really attentive to us and made us feel very welcome. The service was prompt and the food was excellent. We also met Haseena, one of the owners who was lovely too. We had a great experience and delicious food and we will definitely be going back again soon.

Very helpful staff on the phone before our booking i called twice 1st to add two extra then again moved us from outside to indoors due to the cold weather.
