Came here for afternoon tea for the first time and can say it will probably be the last. My wife and I go for afternoon tea somewhere different every Saturday and this was the worst yet. We thought with the reviews it would be good and as it was our 10th wedding anniversary we tried somewhere new. We weren’t offered a drink The food was sat in front of us with no explanation of what anything was, like what happens at every afternoon tea we have been too. The sandwiches where soggy, the quality was terrible, the sweets where really poor And we where just left alone with zero customer service at all. There was a wedding on in the other room so maybe this is why our food and service was so poor. There was only us there for the afternoon also so that could be another reason. The notes on my booking actually said it was a 10 year wedding anniversary and they still didn’t ask if we wanted a drink nor even mention our wedding anniversary. Really really disappointing all round.

Excellent meal last night at the Spurstow venue. As a party of 10 , we were served well and food was amazing. It would be nice to have the chicken pago pago back on the menu.

Lovely food cooked to perfection, staff were very accommodating and helpful. Shame we live too far away to return.

Had a great evening relaxing with friends. Delicious food and very well hosted. My friends were new to Panama Hatty's and 'would like to go again very soon'! We'll be back!

Honestly, from start to finish, we had the best night. I would recommend Pacino’s, Greg & his family to everybody. Whether local to Chester or just on a visit, give Pacino’s a try because you won’t be disappointed. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere but very attentive. Great drinks, and even better food. The food is sublime. The midweek menu is amazing with such a good offer. The fillet steak, chicken, pastas, pizzas, starts (risotto, mushroom gratin, soup) just beautiful. We were so impressed and just loved our time there. Will always return.

We visit the beautiful pub regularly. The food is of very high quality & always value for money. The service is always of a high standard from Rob & his team. Would highly recommend this pub if you would like a good quality service and a mouth watering meal. 10 out of 10 from me & my wife. We will return soon.

We both had the fish pie washed down with a delicious Pinot…. staff friendly and attentive..

Had a fantastic meal Visited with family over from Canada so this was their farewell evening We had a variety of starters , mains and desserts which we all delicious and well presented I’m just glad I chose the small fish and chips as the large was HUGEEEEE. The young lady who served us was wonderful. Very attentive, service with a smile. Nothing too much trouble. (Cannot remember her name but she had just returned from travelling Vietnam. On my behalf please say Thank You. All I. All nothing to complain about so we will be back I I will recommend you to our bed and breakfast guests. Thank you.

Great food (Sunday Lunch special), nice relaxing atmosphere and excellent staff. Made my 65th birthday extra special.

Went for a roast dinner with family. I chose the trio of meats. It was delicious and I’m fussy when it comes to roasts. The atmosphere was lovely. Very busy which is a good sign. Highly recommend and I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu.

It's a really nice pub with lovely beer garden and great service. The menu is amazing, now here comes the 'but'. The quality of the actual food has plummeted since our last visit; for example the fish cake might once have been in a distribution centre that had previously held a fish, but that's as close as it gets. The nachos used to be covered in real cheese, but now it's just a pretty poor nacho sauce that once again has only a passing acquaintance with actual cheese. Other reviews have talked about the pub having given up and I think that's a very fair assessment. Come back in the summer.....

Delicious food and lovely staff as always. Would love to see a halloumi burger on the menu as a veggie burger option.

Great service , meal fabulous , good atmosphere

We can to chippy Tuesday to celebrate our wedding anniversary and a birthday. Was not sure what size the meal would be. We were amazed at the size of the fish and the quality of the meal priced at £10 each. We will be back but will remember not to eat that day as we were stuffed.
