Sunday Menu three course meal was excellent and value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

We came here for a Sunday roast to celebrate my birthday. Lovely meal and catered for gluten free. Food is value for money and very well presented. I have been coming here the past couple of years and will continue.

Nice little run out to the lovely hidden gem. We had the roast beef Sundsy meal. Mash, roasties, seasonal vegetables, yourkshire pudding roast beef a plentiful. The service was very friendly, and a log burner was a bonus £16.50, then 30% off. Wow. Thank you

The whole experience at the White Lion at Alvanley was very good. The service was good. All the food was excellent,we only had starters and main courses but everything was tasty served at the right temperature and good sized portions.

This was our first visit to the Plough and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the Sunday roast. Service was excellent and the staff very friendly . The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. We will be back!

Fabulous roast dinners!! I love my roast dinners and have tried many other roasts in the area, but none top the Plough, even more expensive ones. The Plough also happens to be our local pub so win win!! The service is also second to none, staff are very organised and professional and very friendly, this pub has a lovely vibe..highly recommend!

Had a few Sunday lunches here, good service, decent honest food reasonably priced, a reliable venue

I have to say first time we have had a complaint Enjoyed an excellent meal early December. We had Sunday lunch thereyesterday but disappointing. Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding a plentiful supply of vegetables and mash and roast potatoes with gravy. However my Yorkshire pudding was pathetic and limp not at all crispy total opposite to what it should have been. I did eventually speak to a lovely young man who arranged another one. The replacement eventually arrived and I did enjoy it but feel the original should never have been served dark brown and soft ugh!

We had a wonderful time celebrating our mums 83rd birthday. The staff were super attentive and made us all feel very welcome. The tables were beautifully prepared for our arrival and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for more. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we were not rushed or felt like we needed to leave after was had finished our food and drinks . The hotel also provided a surprise birthday for our mum ; a lovely chocolatey pudding plate, her face was a picture of happiness upon receiving it. Thank you again, we would return and recommend to others ….

All very good, with excellent service from the staff , many of whom have been there for many years. Quality of food and presentation of the highest quality plus large selection of wines. my only gripe is that the menu doesn't change very often

Hi we went to Panama hattys on Friday teatime,and we really enjoyed it.the place is beautiful,the staff were lovely,and so was the food, would gladly call again.
