As usual Panama Hattys was very welcoming,service and food wonderful as it always it.We have been going there for over 25 years and will continue to do so.

Really enjoyed our Sunday lunch here on 11 May. Hubby had the trio of meats roast and was oohing and aahing over every mouthful. I had the butternut squash wellington which was delicious and nice to have a vegan option on a par with a traditional roast. Would have liked to have had the seasonal vegetables from the roast so maybe the chef could consider tweaking the traditional roast to make it vegan and serve with the wellington, that would be perfect! Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful day so we ate outside and only ventured inside for the loos, which were spotless and I always think a mark of good place. The decor was lovely though and we would definitely revisit if in the area.

Our first visit and we were not disappointed, excellent friendly service Tasty food and pleasant ambience . We will visit again soon .

Great meal at Carriers as always. Staff helpful friendly and chatty. Food really good, they had run out of few items but no problem as much choice. Also when I asked about chilli they still got us a portion which was lovely. Good size portions and nice as dog friendly he even got sausage tea!! Thank you for lovely meal and so mice to sit on conservatory and enjoy sunshine.

Came for afternoon tea with my partner. Had a really nice time. The women who dealt with us was very lovely and friendly, can’t remember her name she had black hair. overall lovely afternoon

Excellent breakfast (poached eggs on sourdough bread) with very tasty coffee. Ambient atmosphere. Good booking system...very enjoyable

Dined here Sunday 4th May my partner had his usual roast beef Sunday dinner I had the steak and ale pie chips and seasonal veg absolutely delicious clean plates from both of us ,the staff were attentive to our needs and both friendly and polite.All in all a great experience highly recommend it to anybody.

New owner. Very friendly, and helping out. Sunday roast was very tasty, lots of vegetables, all very hot. Looking forward to the new menu Would recommend.

Disappointed with my over done squid order and a mixed grill order it was over cooked for my taste, I was asked how I would like it cooked, but it wasn't medium well, it was well done. Also one of our party was missing a bed of haggis from the belly pork. The service was fine just let down by the meal

We were served our starters (sharers) and he said he’s be back with plates, we eventually started without because they never came. We had to ask for another drink after half an hour of having empty glasses. Had to ask for new serviettes. Had to ask for the bill and then were waiting a long time for card machine. Food was good apart from chicken wings on sharer, they were terrible

We visited here last night. Our table was booked for 6 o clock. We were greeted by a lovely gentlemen who asked if we would like to enjoy a drink first, which we did. We were handed a menu to have a look at what we would like while we enjoyed a cocktail.. which were DELICIOUS! We ordered the creamy Mushroom starter and the ribs, no words other than "perfect" For main we ordered the sirloin steak, which was one of the nicest steaks I have ever eaten, it was cooked beautifully. We also ordered the chicken fajita loaded fries and my partner really enjoyed those, he said there was so much chicken! For pudding we both ordered the meringue, I had lemon and my partner had pecan, just absolutely stunning. The second we walked in we felt so welcome, the service was second to none and we will be back! Thank you for a lovely evening.

Excellent food which was fantastic value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely afternoon at Mere Court. Lunch for 8 celebrating an 80th was well made and gluten free largely catered for. Great children's menu. Service was friendly and the facilities good. The lawn games and grounds were a treat for our party. Very relaxed. Thank you Mere Court!

Last minute booking on a Saturday for 3 of us and we had a lovely and relaxing meal and drinks. Good food, fast and friendly service with an amazing view of the sun going down over the lake while we ate.

A beautiful Hotel with gorgeous gardens surrounding it. Staff were very pleasant and altogether a lovely afternoon . The food was good so it was fairly good value for money
