Lovely Mother's Day meal.Lovely staff.Lovely atmosphere.

First time back here in a long time. Won’t leave it so long before our next visit. Great location, excellent service, great menu, value for money and friendly welcome.

Unfortunately the service was not very good. It took a lot of time for service to take place between courses and the removal of the main course dishes. Food was excellent.

Lovely mothers day meal with my son & thoroughly enjoyed. Food was gorgeous & so tasty. Staff were all friendly & looked after us so well. Thank you to all xx

Lovely food on mothers day I would have liked the food to be bit hotter but I know how busy they were. Has not put me off going again lovely pub and staff x

Had an amazing night here with my girls yesterday. The staff, service and atmosphere were so fab!

Lovely looking pub from the outside, and interior decor was very cosy, loved the tree lights! Food was delicious. Unfortunately didn't find the staff particularly friendly or welcoming.

Sadly, this was the worst meal we have ever been presented with. Out with family... arrived at 6pm... we finally got served with our meal at 7.15!! Not enough staff for the amount of people that were there. The quality of the food was disgraceful. Dried out burnt pastry and lack of filling in pie, lumpy mince ( clumps of mince) in the chilli con carni. Nobody enjoy their food it quite frankly it was in-edible!! We all left still feeling hungry due to leaving most of the food still on the plates! Wouldn't recommend to anyone and certainly will not be going again!

What a lovely evening. Both our (grown up - 27yrs & 20yrs) kids came home from uni this weekend and we wanted to visit Panama Hattys again, as neither of them have been there before & we wanted to take them somewhere classy. The food was as gorgeous as always ( The Beast burger is highly recommended lol), the staff were extremely helpful (especially with our daughter who has a gluten alergy) and very friendly. Its slso worth adding, that as with every other visit we've had, the place itself was spotlessly clean. Overall it was superb value for money. Thanks again for an amazing evening & we will definitely be back again. Daz & family Wrexham

Despite a slight online booking error, they made sure they found space for us. The food and service was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again!

We booked to take my parents out for meal on Saturday 29/03/25 at 1.30pm for my mums birthday and Mother’s Day. When we got there the place was busy but only had 2 staff on. We were told there was up to 1 hour wait for food as they were low staff and very busy. When my mother ordered liver we were told they never had any as it had not been delivered yet. After ordering our food we waited for over 1 hour for the food to come and when mine & my husband’s mix grills turned up all the meat was cold. We asked for the streak to be med rare when it came it was well done and cold. Not once did any staff come to ask if the food was ok as I wanted to return the mix grills. We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order for drinks, after taking the order the drinks never came as there was no staff so my husband had to go get the drinks himself from the bar. When we tried to order dessert my father was told they don’t have custard to go with the apple pie but it was on on

Wow absolutely lovely food, I can't believe how big the portions were. It was so tasty and cooked to perfection and I would definitely recommend.

Superb, as always! We often come here and always feel welcome. The food is excellent and it’s such a nice, relaxing place to eat.

Met up with some old friends here. The staff were vey patient, and attentive. Didn’t feel rushed, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We dine regularly at Bacchus, and have recently enjoyed many special occasions including a recent wedding anniversary there. We have always enjoyed the Bacchus experience. The staff are friendly and helpful , the menu is varied, interesting and beautifully presented, the ambiance is elegant and relatively formal. Bacchus consistently provide an excellent quality of lunch or dinner at a reasonable price.
