Pacino’s – ChesterFood good, service slow, we would have had another drink if someone had come to the table, we had to go to the bar to order a dessert.
Alvanley Arms – TarporleyHad the Ooh La La , French onion soup, cake and hot drink, it was delicious. Just right for a light lunch! Service and presentation good.
Cafe De Paris – Nantwich3rd visit for afternoon tea. This time it was extremely disappointing and we wont be returning. Once seated and tea/coffee brought to the table we were just ignored. No one asked if we were ok or if we would like anything more We had to get up twice to find someone. There was absolutely no service which spoilt the visit. The lady on reception was very nice and helpful..Ive seen other reviews of a similar experience so there must be something amiss..The afternoon tea was OK,apart from the carrot cake which was pretty awful..What a shame as its a great location...I did contact them a few days later but am still waiting ..Very disappointing
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordWe managed to get my Mum out for lunch (first time outside the house for 4 months). Staff were lovely and welcoming...had our favourite table. All the meals were delicious...haddock and chips, cheese pie and veg and a mixed grill ...hot tasty and generous portions! No room for pudding - but we appreciated a special day out. Thanks to all.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichDaughters first time for afternoon tea and staff made her feel very special and enjoyable experience. Food was excellent and even brought some home. Thank you for making my daughter experience a happy one and would definitely recommend for everyone wanting to take their children for something special. Would book again.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordHad a lovely Afternoon tea cakes sandwiches and scones were delicious and the service and staff were lovely I can highly recommend.
Mere Court Restaurant – KnutsfordLovely service, arrived 10 minutes late which is very annoying for the pub but customer service great. Was chippy Tuesday apparently so very busy but no impact on service. Food was tasty and plentiful and some great choices! Did smaller portions which is amazing (and meant I could fit 2 courses in) thank you, all 4 of us were very happy and will definitely be back.
The Plough at Whitegate – NorthwichLovely atmosphere Fabulous food Amazing staff who always go the extra mile which is very rare these days. We go every 8wks and I've never had a bad meal/experience.

The Cheshire Yeoman – Ellesmere PortSunday lunch is the best out there and the service outstanding.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyI had a fantastic meal! The steak was absolutely perfect—cooked just the way I like it, full of flavour, and incredibly tender. The cocktail menu was impressive, with a great variety to choose from, and I thoroughly enjoyed trying a few. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was friendly and attentive. Overall, a great dining experience—I’ll definitely be back!
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyHi, I have a small chauffeuring company based locally and on the recommendation of a number of my clients I booked a table , well in advance, as a post race-day at Haydock finale. The day at Haydock was very successful , well sustained by a champagne breakfast at the Mercure Hotel. So , to Bacchus . Cordial is an old fashioned word but it beautifully sums up the atmosphere here from the second you come through the door . The staff are relaxed and confident . We ordered the food , a bottle of Champagne and a bottle d St Emilion, lovely glasses , red wine decanted, gorgeous. My main course of Linguine was the best pasta I've had outside Italy !! My friend's steak , similarly, was sumptuous. Both had ginger sponge pudding for deserts ; delicious! In all, a lovely dining experience and great value . Tim Sumner .
Bacchus Restaurant – MacclesfieldAbsolute first class food presented by wonderful staff. Would highly recommend visiting this restaurant. We where able to sit and decide what we wanted to eat sitting in a comfortable seating area while having a lovely drink. We be revisiting again.
Panama Hattys Restaurant & Bar – TarporleyBrilliant as usual.
Pacino’s – ChesterWent for valentines was told table service but had to keep going bar to order drinks and food, waited a hour for starter which was described toasted bread but came freezing cold and not toasted ,butter was solid then had to wait another hour for mains which came was nice but had to ask for the rest of food and when came the onion rings were really greasy that’s all I could taste was grease very under staffed and disappointing service, was very cold inside was day by the fire which hadn’t been lit and just had the fan blowing on us and the atmosphere was not very romantic people rowdy and swearing not very good for a valentines night
White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamWe had such a lovely meal for Valentine’s Day and it was perfect from start to finish. The steak was cooked to perfection and the “cheese pan” started was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend!
