A very cute little cafe tucked away, friendly staff and delicious food

Excellent food and service

Excellent food ,although a little too much for us OAPs, not a complaint,just an observation.we had fish and chips and chicken curry .Service was good and pleasant,polite and helpful staff. It is many years since I was last here. It will not be very long before I come back again. Very reasonable prices too. Enjoyable lunchtime

We are so lucky to have the choice of so many pubs and eateries in cheshire, however the Alvanley Arms is a little gem in the Crown. A lovely historical building with a great ambient atmosphere, especially when the log fires are burning in the winter The food is delicious,reasonably priced with good portions. Staff are friendly and make you feel very welcome. Our go to pub Highly recommend 5 stars from us

We had an excellent meal last night. Eleven family members gathered for my husbands 80th birthday. We were welcomed by Charlotte. Nothing was too much trouble. Our meals were hot, tasty and served promptly. Would recommend The Plough to our friends. Thank you all.

Popped in on Monday with my husband for lunch, what a beautiful pub. It was lovely and busy with a great atmosphere. We both chose from the 2 for 1 menu, a Chicken Tikka Curry and Ham,egg and chips. Food was really nice, very hot, presented well and great value. Will definitely be back. Lovely staff. Well done Carriers Inn

Went for lunch after the cafe was recommended to us. Lovely food, we had the charcuterie board with extra bread. Friendly atmosphere and great customer service. Would definitely return.

Four of us attended the Choral Evensong at Whitegate Church and booked to have dinner afterwards at The Plough. The food was lovely, the service excellent and, all in all, we had a lovely evening!

The meal unfortunately was average my curry was cool the pies were fine and the other meal chilly con carne didn't have much taste. The puddings were okay but the eaton mess was nothing like one and over priced.

Lovely venue, 6 people went for birthday celebrations. Everybody enjoyed the meal.i like that place has plenty of adults working, so many places are full of kids running them.

Excellent food , excellent service in a very friendly atmosphere

We received a warm welcome and we ordered our food which arrived in a timely fashion. We ordered the steak burgers with a side of onion rings and then shared a waffle topped with ice-cream, biscoff sauce. All the food was served hot, the burger was delicious, one of the best I have eaten in ages. Very happy and we will be back again.

Met up with a friend for lunch and we both went for the French Onion Soup + Hot Drink + Cake deal. The soup was amazing! Will definitely go back. Friendly service too and nice atmosphere.n

Wonderful food and friendly staff

Lovely food, great location and friendly service, reasonably priced too compared to many pubs that still seem to be raising their prices quite a lot. I had fish and chips which was divine and my fiancée had an Asian tofu sweet and sour dish with rice which she also raved about. Highly recommend.
