La Mezzaluna – CarlisleAbsolutely fantastic! Food was marvellous. We had olives and the whipped feta at the start which was incredible. The lamb and pork dishes couldn’t be faulted. The service was quick and friendly and the hostess was fantastic. Would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWow, the food here was amazing! I had the beef pie whilst my husband had the venison. Melt in your mouth meat, great service and the kids loved the sticky toffee pudding! Not the cheapest but definitely worth it!
Pheasant Inn – KeswickFabulous food wonderful atmosphere and friendly efficient staff are here twice on our recent weeks visit to Keswick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Pheasant Inn – KeswickSuch a great pub absolutely lovely food delicious and hot and plenty. All staff very friendly and courteous. Plus dog friendly too. This is our 2nd visit and will definitely be back soon and recommend to everyone.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeAs always we had a fantastic meal with friends. The food was outstanding, we all chose different options and everybody was impressed. Even the dog enjoyed her venison chew. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional throughout despite being very busy. Highly recommend !
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAmazing food & a very relaxing atmosphere
Sage and Vine – CarlisleThis is our go-to pub for lunch whenever we are in the area. Came for Sunday lunch, four people all had different choices - roast lamb, pork loin, macaroni cheese and fish and chips. All were perfect and we had to share puddings we were so full. The food here is always sublime and very good value for exceptional quality. This is a gorgeous little pub - we only wished we lived closer!
Horse and Farrier – PenrithSpent some time in Keswick last week and went to the Pheasant several times. They are very dog friendly and the food and drinks are first class. They could bring anything from the menu and it would be fabulous. Once we have selected a meal we often look jealously at other people’s selections.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe had a lovely meal & drinks on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed everything, the meal was good home cooked food, the prices were very reasonable & the service was excellent. A lovely young man was learning the ropes & doing a fine job. We will definitely come back the next time we visit the area. Thank you for being such good hosts
Greyhound Inn Cotehill – CarlisleAs good usual. We are very fortunate to have this as a local and we are very impressed with the new chef!
Horse and Farrier – PenrithHad another superb Sunday lunch at the Horse and Farrier Dacre. Lovely pate followed by tender roast beef with Crispy Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and all the trimmings. We’re already booked for next Sunday. The staff are very friendly and helpful and we always ask for the table in the restaurant next to the door so we have a great view!
Horse and Farrier – PenrithOne of the best steaks I’ve had - I would highly recommend the fillet steak it was cooked to perfection and the home made chips and peppercorn sauce were to die for. The wine options were also great. We will definitely be back!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereThis is probably the best Pub for food in Keswick in my opinion.Been here a few times and the Food is always just perfect. Just a great evening.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickAll very nice experience
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleFantastic food and service. Whenever we visit Carlisle this always our place to visit.
La Mezzaluna – CarlisleWorst food I've ever been served, lukewarm chips, garlic and chilli prawns were plain and cold, ordered steaks to be medium and medium rare theese were both served as rare as you could possibly get. Steaks were cut up before being served so this should of been noticed and not served.paid for drinks without eating and left.
Pig and Whistle – CartmelWe have eaten at this Horse and Farrier several times over the last few years - this was a wedding anniversary evening out for us. The meal was quite excellent so we were both very happy. The parfait starter was delicious - my wife's Stone Bass was beautifully cooked, and my Duck from the specials board was - well, special. Two different deserts, equally enjoyable. Very well presented and served, so our congratulations and thanks to the chef and his helpers, and the front of house folk. Well done to you all.
