Fantastic food and service….never disappoints

My first visit and it really did not disappoint. Staff were lovely, cocktails were good and the food was delicious

2nd time visiting the sage and vine food ,service , atmosphere all great.! We'll be back in 2025 .

Lovely evening from start to finish. Wonderful food, I had lamb which was just to die for and my wife had the fillet steak which was superb, and the dauphinoise potatoes were simply the best. Lovely ambience and service, very impressed and would highly recommend 10/10.

Our second time at this restaurant as we enjoyed the first time around. Delicious food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Good value for money. We will be back next time we are in Carlisle. Thanks for a lovely dinner experience.

Been coming to Grasmere for around 6 years now but this was our first experience at dining at Lewis's Bistro. What an amazing gem we found. The Bistro itself looks beautiful and well set up and we just knew we were going to have a great night. The food was simply amazing. A medium rare steak for main and a lemon posset for desert always capture my eye while dining out but the highlight was the Black Pudding stack for starters. That packs a punch. My wife's Lamb Rack was her highlight but literally the whole night was a delight. Being in the catering business ourselves, we know that attention to detail and great customer service is second to none and I must say, all boxes are ticked here. Great chatting with you Lewis. We were recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! All the food was great, we went for the smell plates but can’t wait to go back and try the pizzas as well! Great friendly service, would highly recommend.

Excellent vegetarian Sunday lunch. Very creative, lots of delicious veg. Followed by a great caramel tart. Made very welcome. Staff friendly and helpful Back in two weeks!!!

we had roast Vension and caseolet , both very tasty and not bad value for such good food. Staff very friendly .
