A fantastic hidden gem in Grasmere. Food was amazing - the best we've had in a very long time and definitely the best in the Lakes for us. We'll certainly be returning on our next Lakes' visit. I'd certainly recommend booking as it's only a small (but perfectly formed!) restaurant. Staff were lovely too.

Such a lovely little restaurant, the food was just lovely and the service was great too. Special shout out for the tandoori butter scallops!

We ate at Harry's twice during our week long stay in the area. Croque Monsieur for brunch were delicious, hot and beautifully presented. But the absolute highlight was roast beef on the Sunday (and also my favourite meal of our 3 week holiday). The beef was amazing - cooked rare, it cut like butter and was absolutely delicious. Roast potatoes and large Yorkshire puddings, ready to be doused in plentiful gravy, baked hispi cabbage, star anise carrots and the most incredible cauliflower cheese EVER! That meal will live on in my memory bank always.

1st time visiting this restaurant and we were not disappointed, great food, & fabulous service! Big shout out to the tandoori butter scallops! Would definitely return.

We had a really lovely evening here. Food was very good, portions were large and we felt the pricing was about right. Service was great and all staff friendly . We will return without a doubt.

Friendly and attentive staff Food was tasty and well presented at dinner Breakfast was very good, porridge and granola large portions and good quality Poached eggs and haddock was good You can always pick holes in any F&B experience but the Wheatsheaf for a small pub in a rural area where staff are not plentiful was very good

I took my wife to Grants for a birthday celebration meal and we were not disappointed. Very good food freshly cooked, pleasant atmosphere and good service. Can't ask a lot more.

This was our first visit, although we used to visit when it was called Sarah's bistro many years ago. The food was excellent, really tasty and with just the right amount of time between courses. Service was really good too.

Lovely food, good drinks, menu with a wide choice of attractive dishes, excellent cheerful service, the online booking system worked, and the prices were reasonable. Happy, cheerful evening all round. Thank you, good folk of the Pheasant Inn. Yrs Tim

We eat and stayed at the Queens Head, Tirril. We had a lovely welcome from the young lady behind the bar who was extremely helpful. Very comfortable room. We both had dinner, food was excellent pub fare, beer was very good, log fire, and a really nice atmosphere. What more could you ask for! Will definitely stay and eat again when we are up this way

We have enjoyed several good meals at The Pheasant Inn and last week we met 4 family members there and were pleased to be allocated a table in the restaurant as requested in our on line booking. The food and service was excellent as always. Thank you!
