La Mezzaluna – CarlisleHad a delicious meal while in the Lake District for a few days. Lovely little restaurant and we both really enjoyed our meal.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereWe love the Pheasant…have eaten here loads over the years. Excellent pie as always..but very tough slow cooked lamb shoulder. After 3 mouthfuls we told the team; and we were refunded 50%. If we are honest, don’t think that was a great response. We’ll think carefully before returning.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWonderful atmosphere. Delicious food. Friendly staff!
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereA hidden gem! Great food an d very friendly service. Well worth a visit with a good selection. So good we went back a second time and weren’t disappointed. The chefs curry was really good.
Goody Blake’s – GrasmereThe most delicious food. A restaurant not to be missed. The salt and pepper prawn starter was fresh, delicious and delivered a multilayered depth of thai flavours. Both the pork and lamb dishes were flawless. A perfect bottle of Barolo accompanied the perfect meal. Carrie our waitress' service was excellent. A thoroughly great venue.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereClearly a popular place to go. Food was delicious and the front of house team very welcoming. Would happily recommend and would go back.
Lewis’s Bistro – GrasmereGreat food. Both my wife and I had fish. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. The sweets were also fabulous. The restaurant is relatively cosy which contributed to a nice atmosphere which at times got a bit hectic. However staff dealt with is amazingly, being quick able to change to a very calm manner with customers. Overall great evening.
