Service was sloppy. Only 3 meals arrived. We had to wait for the fourth and then it was not what we ordered. Then waited for cutlery which arrived after 2 requests. Finally we were charged for the incorrect meal, which added £12 to the meal. It really spoilt the occasion.

What an amazing meal! Had the beef pie, hubby had the chicken pie. Starters and a desert. Couple of drinks and it was £68! Really enjoyed the whole experience. Lovely atmosphere and the service was brill.

First visit here, warm welcome. Pub was clean and tidy with lovely atmosphere. Food was usual pub grub, very nice, hot and no long waits for service. Would go back.

We are just finishing a two-week visit from the US to Keswick, and the Pheasant Inn was our favorite restaurant here. We ate there three times, including for our 40th anniversary. The salmon is superb, as is the gooseberry-apple crumble. I had the tagine twice and liked it very much--but not as much as the salmon! The wait staff was efficient and friendly, and altogether we have very happy memories of our visits.

Great food, lovely staff, brilliant surroundings. Will go back again fir more of the same please.

Lovely meal ,very pleasant staff. Asked to sit downstairs as too noisy upstairs (group of men) Staff were happy to find us another table☺️

Perfect meal at La Mezzaluna. Delicious pate starter followed by Penne Pollo which was creamy, full of chicken pieces and plenty of pasta. Served very hot and within a timely manner. Service was excellent throughout. Great value for money.

This was out first time of going to the Pheasant Inn having been recommended it by a friend. Have to say not disappointed at all. The food was amazing the staff were very friendly and quick service. Totally understand why you need to reserve in advance. Will definetly go back.

First time visiting La Mezzaluna and it won't be our last .Food was beautiful,lovely surroundings and really kind and attentive staff definitely 5 out of 5.

Superb Food, super service. An excellent evening spent in one of the eating gems of the lakes.

Regular pub for us and bought my parents for a visit. It was not the usual standard we are so used to this time round which was very disappointing for us . Much longer wait than usual for food 1hr 20 mins, Must have been short staffed in the kitchen. There were a few murmurs with fellow diners , so thought a fair review was needed. The food was fabulous when it did arrive except for the chips which was very sad to see as they are usually outstanding . They were very over cooked and dark brown . It certainly wont put us off as we are so used to the high standard the pheasant offers.

Our first time but very enjoyable experience we will repeat. Our gluten free and vegetarian guests were well looked after without it being made obvious

Excellent food , fantastic friendly staff . Will definitely be back when we come to visit the Lake District again .

Delightful decor, excellent menu choices, great home cooked food with superb service ..... What's not to like!

You can only judge a restaurant by your own experience and at Lewis's it was pretty good. We had a nice welcome, attentive service and food delivered quickly and to a high standard. We are foodies who have eaten at some of the very best restaurants in the UK and abroad so we adjust our comments accordingly. We didn't expect Michelin standard food but we did get tasty dishes cooked by someone who knows what they are doing, We left happy that we had eaten here for our last night in Grasmere.
