Treated ourselves on honeymoon. The food is outstanding - especially the scallops - and some good vegetarian options available. A really nice atmosphere and a bonus of being dog friendly.

A superb meal with excellent service. The staff are so friendly and helpful regarding choice of food and wine. The relaxed feeling amongst them makes the place work so efficiently and professionally. This is our third visit and we will return - I would strongly recommend a visit

Fabulous food at Grants of Castlegate. The look of the place doesn't really prepare you for the quality of the food and cooking which is stunning.

Booked a table easily online, I had the beef pie, chips and vegetables, everything was delicious and hot. Lovely little pub with fantastic service, friendly staff and delicious food. I recommend booking as very popular! I will definitely come back next time I'm in Keswick. Thank you!

We throughly enjoyed our dining experience with you for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Angelica & her colleague (sorry we didn’t make a note about of their name) made us feel very welcomed. We could not fault anything. It was a perfect end to a lovely day. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Food was excellent. 2 of us had the burger 3 had the Thai food. Very tasty. The service was slow and we had to ask at the bar to order. We would have stayed after the meal but the loud pointless music playing spoiled the atmosphere.
