Really lovely dinner last night. Delicious food and excellent service. It stood out in Penrith. We’ll definitely be going back.

Beautiful meal great service, first time at Grants but won’t be the last.

We dined at Grants last night the food was delicious and all the staff very attentive and friendly. We would recommend everyone to dine here. We will definitely revisit soon

We booked a table for Sat 6th Sept at 7.20pm upon arrival was taken to table had to ask for it to be cleaned were eventually given menus then sat waited after 10 minutes my husband went the bar to ask if we had to order at the bar and was told “there will be a delay of 30-40 minutes”! Why did they not say that when we arrived we left. The establishment also has rooms I dread to think what breakfast service is like. It was shambolic and poorly run a Saturday night and the only 3 draft beers they had were sold out! Will not revisit or recommend.

Went to this fabulous restaurant with my mum,husband and mother in-law for her birthday. Have been before and I was not disappointed all the staff were lovely from the moment we arrived till the moment we left couldn't do enough for us and really made us laugh. What a great night will definately come back again.

We were a party of four and it is the second time we have dined. The menu was varied and we were spoiled for choice. The food was again outstanding and professionally presented. We had four starters and four main courses. No room for dessert. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, the service perfect. We recommend to locals and holidaymakers alike.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Adrianio's. Really lovely service from our waiter and others with whom we interacted during our meal. Excellent pizza and great menu. Will definitely visit again, and would recommend.

We had Sunday lunch on a very busy summer Sunday. Staff were unfailingly courteous and helpful, despite us being delayed by problems finding a parking space. The main course took quite a time to arrive, but understandably when freshly cooking from scratch a wide selection of fresh vegetables as well as Yorkshire puds and a veggie wellington. We wouldn't hesitate to go again if nearby.

Every time we are in the Lakes we go for dinner at the Horse and Farrier. It’s an exceptional establishment. The food is excellent, creative dishes that celebrate seasonal ingredients and always cooked perfectly. The staff are brilliant very attentive and friendly. The pints are also great. It’s well priced so we’ve always walked away as happy customers. 10/10

Our 1st time dining at Lewis's Bistro, the food was excellent. The Bistro itself is comfortable and the staff were friendly. We had a lovely evening and would recommend it to anyone staying in the Grasmere area.

We visited twice during our recent holiday, the food was really good and plentiful on both occasions and nicely presented The menu has plenty of choice for all tastes. Good atmosphere with friendly efficient staff, always on hand.

Good food, pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. Lamb Henry was particular, early good.

Great location to break the journey up from Scotland to Somerset, good size car park, very comfy room with tea/coffee facilities, shower great, excellent evening meal and breakfast, would definitely stay again.

Cask beer 10/10 some of the best conditioned beers I’ve had in a pub in a long time. All 4 local. Lamb 10/10 Salmon 10/10 Attitude of staff to us having a 2 year old 10/10 Children’s menu fish and chips 10/10 Can’t say enough good things First visit Live 6 hours away but will be back!!
