Excellent food, excellent welcome and service ! We have spend a very pleasant diner.

We've been coming to the Lakes for years and never knew of the existence of Lewis's Bistro. You were recommended by a friend, who visited Grasmere recently, and we will definitely be back for dinner next time we visit. The food was delicious, and good size portions, excellent selection of wines, and staff friendly and efficient.

Top class Sunday lunch . Great service and food. The staff always seem happy to see you & make you feel very welcome. The cheesy leaks were just magnificent. The portion size was just right . Enough to fill but not over full .

Excellent food, interestingly different, beautifully presented, lovely surroundings. Staff attentive and friendly. A cushion on our seats would have been a bonus!

Amazing food and service with a smile

Our first visit to the bistro and we weren’t disappointed. Great atmosphere, excellent food and a great choice of food. Very friendly staff. We had the French onion soup to start and it was delicious. A super evening and highly recommend.

I’m so pleased we ate at The Pheasant. Everything was great. Excellent service, lovely food and large portions, extensive menu, good value. This is a traditional pub, long may it last. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Lovely meal, excellent service, great value for money. Despite arriving late after our train was cancelled this was no problem to them We will most definitely be back.

Brought my friend along who was visiting from out of town. Service and food was amazing as always and my friend love it as much as me. However, out night was dampened by a group of diners, who were extremely loud, disrespectful and seemed unaware they were dining in a restaurant, really tainted our night and not what I would expect

The food was really good although I've had better elsewhere, not that it will stop us visiting again. The service was a bit slow, others offered drinks at the table whilst we had to go to the bar to order. Again, not really an issue apart from the service charge which you feel obligated to pay for as they don't accept cash.
