As always a good atmosphere and excellent meal. Service was cheerful, prompt and efficient. A little less chilli in the crab linguini next time please.

The food and menu was absolutely spot on. Something for everyone & our meals were cooked & served perfectly. I really can’t recommend high enough as so far from traditional pub food. So tasty. Thankyou to the lovely landlord and his staff. Look forward to your returning

We had a fantastic lunch at The Swan Inn between Christmas and New Year, sitting outside under the heaters with cozy blankets and the best views down the river Yealm. The food and the service were both fantastic.

If you visit Seaton you must enjoy the amazing carvery at the Harbour Inn. Outstanding quality, value and service.

A Saturday lunch in a friendly atmosphere, the food delicious, the fish was possibly the best I have eaten in many years. A repeat visit is definitely on the cards.

The team were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble, the service was swift and attentive and the pub itself is so cosy, and warm. We had the carvery which was delicious and huge, and the rest of the table seemed to rave about their pub classsics too!

Excellent meal. Beef cheeks were melt in the mouth delish. Very busy night in the dining room that was very well handled by the two waitresses.

Always my favourite pub to go to, and it is extra special on Christmas eve. Lovely friendly staff and a tasty Festive Burger. Fish and Chips is great as well. Easy to book a table on line and amazing views outside. When my sister comes down from London she always insists on going to The Swan.

The service was exceptional during our visit. The food was general pub standard. The nearby Ship Inn, from recent experience, has better quality food with more generous portions. We both had fish and chips and found the portion of fish to be very small. My chips were slightly underdone but not enough to complain. The beers were lovely and the liquor coffee was nice and made with hand whipped cream. The dessert was ok but not exceptional and again quite a small portion. The atmosphere was nice, although it could have been warmer. Overall we had a nice evening.

Fabulous Christmas roast

As always, good food attentive and friendly service. Cooked a starter we requested that wasn't on the menu!

Very good. Great choice and vegetables were well presented. We had a nice cosy table in the bar area but I wouldn't have wanted to eat in the carvery room which was soleless Perhaps, if you're a big eater go for the extra meat option. Would definitely visit again.

Cosy atmosphere ! Had an excellent roast, plentiful portions and piping hot. Ales very good from Exeter Brewery…its hard to find decent pubs doing Sunday roasts, I thoroughly recommend.

Love this pub, very few like it. Loads of character, lovely food and on point ales from Exeter Brewery.
