Great food and atmosphere.

The staff at Maritimos have been so very helpful and supportive in arranging and serving our 50th Wedding Anniversary celebration lunch. They made the day so very special for us. The lovely weather helped but the food and service were as always exemplary.

Delicious meal, great atmosphere, attentive staff, what more could you want? Great evening!

Another lovely meal at the Hour Glass. We live nearby and this is the place w etake friends for a night out. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is great (I hate the word 'gastropub' but it is at least an indication that we are not talking about 'traditional pub food' here . Two of us had pork schnitzel, one had chicken breast and one the excellent hamburger. The wine is good as is (of course!) the beer. We were warned that the food might be delayed as there was a large party in the basement but, as we chatted, we didn't notice any particular wait. All round, a most enjoyable evening. Thanks to all concerned!

Belluno is our favourite local restaurant and we like to eat there at least once a month to support them. Great choice of menu and having recently visited Italy I can assure you their pizza is every bit as good as the ones we had in Naples, to find out the owner comes from Naples. The staff are wonderful and the food is delicious and as they are open throughout the day it's great to be able to pop in for a late lunch or early dinner too. We are returning twice in one week due to having visitors staying and really looking forward trying something different on the menu.

We had lunch at the Swan today. Ordered 4 different entrees. All four were prepared to perfection. The service was equally good! Nothing but good things to say about the Swan.

It was Sunday evening and we were tired after a long journey. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. Next time we're in Axminster we'll be sure to return.

We visited on Monday 8 June. A lovely meal and pleasant staff...an enjoyable evening. Despite being very busy, the service was excellent. I'd highly recommend.

Excellent food, service and environment had a lovely Sunday lunch

Brilliant service, food cooked to perfection. The belly pork is to die for, my other half had a succulent beef roast. Wouldn't go to any other establishment for Sunday lunch.

12 of us had a lovely sunday carvery whilst we were staying locally for the weekend. Staff were very friendly - lovely view too.

A party of 6 of us had a meal on the evening of Saturday, 6th June. Restaurant was fully booked however this did not affect the fabulous friendly service or great tasting food. Highly recommend to visit.
